Gendler Ellen, MD

I’ve been seeing Dr Gendler for many years. She is one of the best doctors in NYC –period.
She is intelligent and knowledgeable and her dedication and expertise are unmatched. She is flawlessly up-​to-​date about new products, treatments, and procedures and has a skilled and artful eye with great sensitivity to detail. She has taken incredible care of my skin. I trust & believe in her implicitly. Sensible + experienced + state-​of-​the art-​up-​to-​date. A brilliant combination of all of the things I am looking for in a doctor!
Her office is organized, helpful, well-​run, and always on time. Her nurses are excellent – friendly, resourceful, astute, and proficient – the best!
Try her facial cleanser. It works.
I cannot recommend Dr. Gendler highly enough. She is an exemplary human being and an exceptional professional.

First, let me say that Dr. Gendler herself is great. Cosmetic or medical dermatology, she’s the best. That said, her staff is dismissive and brusque and her nurse (I think her name is Nicole) is rude and condescending. No, Nicole, I don’t want to look like you — I don’t want duck lips and a frozen face. Ew. And stop pushing products and fillers. So… request a nurse other than Nicole, and you’ll have a positive experience. Dr. Gendler is warm and engaging and listens to you, and unlike Nicole, doesn’t push products or procedures.
