Vibe is perfect to grab a bite to eat and enjoy drinks and conversation with close friends. Service and food has yet to ever let me down. This place is quickly becoming one of my «go-to’s» in Little Italy.

The restaurant interior is really nice. High ceilings, old fashion décor with and industrial modern touch. I had the chai martini — it was good, nothing spectacular though. Almost a desert drink. We didn’t get bread on the table and the service was horrible. I was with a vegetarian and we asked the waiter what the options were and he was made no effort to accommodate. No water refills and the waiter tried to take food off the table that we weren’t finished with it. The food was great though. The Burrata bruschetta was delicious. The butternut squash agnolotti was a ravioli that melted in my mouth. Also the pesto pistachio pasta was great as well.

3.5 Stars Stopped in here on a whim last night. It was early(6pmish) on a Monday night so it was practically empty. My boyfriend and I loved the décor — very rustic, yet modern. Not your typical décor in a restaurant in Little Italy. G&G has a great, big bar and big open space. The downstairs is also huge and has it’s own separate bar. It wasn’t open when I was there, but I assume it is used for private events. Now on to the food… We started with the tuna carpaccio which was slightly frozen. It’s served with a tomato jam that tasted very generic, almost sweet like bad jarred sauce. I would not order the tuna carpaccio again. We also shared a burrata bruschetta to start. The melty burrata was served on two thick, crunchy slices of bread. I loved it, but wished less balsamic glaze had been drizzled on top. I would order this again, but would request little or no balsamic. We shared the mushroom pizza for our entrée. It was cooked perfectly! The crust had tons of flavor and the pepperoncini on it were a nice touch! Overall, this was a good find. Good, fast service. I think I’d like to return for happy hour and perhaps try some other pizzas!

Came here last week, the food is great. Italian with a fresh twist and a rustic ambience. The blonde bartender was incredibly sweet and attentive to my husband and I. The reason for the 3 stars is because we became uncomfortable after witnessing a female manager talk down to the staff, and as we were leaving she was extremely standoffish and seemed annoyed with her job. We were interested in renting space for a party and never got the chance to ask! Hopefully when we return she will not be there, she is terrible.

Really nice atmosphere. Lots of space, cool décor, it’s a very festive spot to enjoy a good dinner with friends. We liked the food although it’s not THE best Italian food in the city, it’s a good restaurant if you’re around the area.

This place is one of my favorite restaurants I’ve been to, period. Probably the best service I’ve ever had. Had an early(for NYC) reservation at 7:30 with my fiancé on a Friday night, expecting a big crowd. The host and waiter were attentive and knowledgeable from the start, and the service was quick and excellent. Vibe was great. Old-world elements(tomato sauce cans on display, old kitchen equipment hanging around) worked into a modern feeling, non-touristy date spot. Food was great. Ordered the burrata bruschetta, which came as a creamy, yogurt-textured cheese on two slices of bread with tomatoes and balsamic. Thought the portion was small, but it was plenty for the two of us! Very filling for such a small item. For my main I ordered the veal, which came pan fried, breaded, and topped with grape tomatoes in a mesclun mix and a simple lemon for dressing. Veal was cooked perfectly, not at all tough or overcooked. Still rare by the bone(oh yeah, it was bone-in!) delicious. 5/7, would order again. Fiancé ordered ham and cheese risotto, which came out like a crispy bacon Mac and cheese. Tasty, heavy, hot, crispy, all the good stuff. Everything you’d expect. Price wasn’t any worse than the federal hill section of Providence, RI. Two drinks, two mains, appetizer was around $ 95. Definitely worth it for a date.

Excelente lugar en Little Italy.

Place was nice — food was ok. I wish it was better for the price. Went there for New Year’s eve and had pretty high expectations.

My BF had spotted this around Xmas and wanted to take me here. It definitely had a nice vibe & cozy yet trendy décor. The drinks had to be sent back because there was barely any alcohol in it… And was $ 15. The food was mixed. We decided to try the ricotta bruschetta w/honey & smoked seat salt. I love ricotta, but it was a bit overwhelming & was just this giant glop of cheese on toasted bread that was blah… My brown butter gnocchi was delicious… Made with braised lamb shoulder, ricotta, toasted hazelnuts, & piave. It was very soft & tasty! My BF’s lasagna al forno was ok. He would’ve preferred a more traditional lasagna in Little Italy w/more sauce, but at least the pasta was al dente pasta & had nicely melted/baked cheese. The roasted cauliflower w/capers & walnuts was a bit soggy… Not quite roasted or fried, which is what we thought it was. And was $ 11? The ambiance was good and service was attentive. The food was mixed like we said, overall too expensive for the quality of food.

Great modern ambiance, different from the more traditional restaurants nearby. Ordered the Manhanttan Italianos for our drinks. WOW, they were fantastic and well worth the $ 15 a drink price. I ordered the prosciutto pizza and my girlfriend ordered the mushroom. Both were cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic.

We had a dinner in Chinatown and were walking around Little Italy looking for a place to have a drink when we suddenly bumped into this place and when we walked in we were impressed by the design and size of the place. It was so cozy and had so much seating space, that I immediately marked this place as a potential spot to celebrate birthday or any other special occasion. The place is also perfect for dates because of the romantic vibe it has due to its intimate lightning. We sat at the bar and ordered beer only, because we ate already, but the menu looked very nice and the prices were average. The service was also very good, the barmen was very considerate and friendly. Indeed, we did not have the full experience but I’m 100% sure we will be coming back to this place!

Gray pace to stop for apps and drinks. Server Allen was great. Had the tuna tartare and Brussels sprouts. Both were awesome. Industrial, hip place, would def come again.

Every time I walk by this place is bustling with a fun vibe. Finally got to try and wish the food was the same. «For the table» appetizers are more for 2, grilled octopus is 2 tentacles but will say cooked to perfection with good accompaniments. Fried calamari — batter fell off but calamari was tender. Dipping sauce is good with a spicy kick, fried green beans good also. Brown butter gnocchi was over cooked, I preferred the lamb ragu. Other pastas were cooked al dente. Ribeye was a perfect rare, veal milanase was seasoned well and crispy. The restaurant has more of an industrial feel which is diff for the area but I’d prefer more a traditional feel.

Great spot in Little Italy! Happened to walk by on a busy Saturday afternoon — where every restaurant had a 30 – 50 minute wait — and happened to see a few open seats at the bar. We waited 25 min for a table and had a few drinks while waiting. The bartender was attentive and checked on us often. Once seated, the server took care of us and we ordered some amazing food! I absolutely love the décor and the atmosphere in this place! Industrial modern with the string lights and reclaimed wood. Not the typical mom and pop Italian place, more of a hipster restaurant you would find in San Francisco. Will definitely be back!

Nice staff. All of them. Fantastic space. Very delicious food. Tasty. Fresh. Interesting. Creative. You have got to try their Brussel sprouts. Sweet Jesus. Their burrata. Oh man. It’s a great Italian restaurant. No pretense. No attitude. Just very yummy food. Pizza. Pasta. Everything is great. Well done guys.

Beautiful restaurant, great energy, incredibly good service, delicious food! They offer gluten free pasta(prepared separated from the gluten foods to avoid cross contamination for people with severe allergies. This made me so happy!). I had a PISTACHIOPESTOPASTA that was soooo delicious. Very delicate taste! I would come back just for it! My friends had pizza, salad and lasagna. They said it was all delicious! We also had white wine for the table and it was really good. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for groups, but make a reservation because it can get busy on weekends.

Wanna know why out of all the Italian restaurants in Little Italy we ended up here? Honestly? Because of the huge stack of firewood they have out front being shuttled inside every so often. To me that said that I would hope to find some pizza with good flavor and I wasn’t disappointed. We stuck with the traditional Margherita pie. Simple flavors of sauce, cheese, torn basil and a drizzle of olive oil over the top; done. They have several draft beers from local brewers, I tried the Brooklyn Summer ale; can’t go wrong with that. We also ordered the beet and goat cheese salad, and that was really very delicious. Loved the various types of beets used, not just the standard reds. It also had glazed walnuts, and was lightly coated in oil and what tasted like a flavored balsamic vinegar. Prices are on the high side but the food was good and so was the service.

Good not great. A little expensive for what you get but I guess that the cost of being in «little Italy». The grilled octopus was good but a little salty for our taste. The beet salad could have had more beets in it. For our mains we had the Inferno pizza which was really good(not really spicy though) and the gnocchi which was a disappointment. Besides not looking very nice the gnocchi themselves were over cooked. So much so I would consider it a lumpy mashed potato. There are better places in the city but this is still one of the better places in little Italy.
