Wow. The flowers I ordered turned out lovely. They took what I asked for and turned it into the most lovely of creations. 5 star bravo.

We chose Gardenia Organic for our wedding, and I’m really glad we did. I never got to meet Hannah in person, unfortunately, since I was a long distance bride planning our wedding from abroad and she’s a busy lady. I dealt mostly with Kasia, her employee, and she was lovely from the first sit down.
I wanted to keep the budget low since our venue was quite expensive and didn’t need a whole lot of extras to make it beautiful, and Hannah was very accommodating from the first proposal. She totally got our aesthetic and sent a really professional proposal, and didn’t complain or give me any trouble when I asked to cut the prices down by more than 1k. I loved my bouquet, which I wanted to have a rustic wildflower feel and I think they nailed perfectly.
All in all, a really good experience. Thanks Gardenia Organic!

I needed to send a thank you to a business partner and I have been rather disappointed with my previous florist in NYC. So I went on Unilocal and based on the reviews, I took a chance! And I am so happy I did. I wanted something personal and chic, not a 1−800-Flowers type arrangement. Hannah picked up the phone, was cordial, knew exactly what I wanted, and very reasonable price. Next day delivery was promised and delivered. My vendor called and thanked me, and sent me a pic of the arrangement, beautiful! Exactly what I wanted, and Hannah will definately be my go to florist for any future blossom needs, thank you!

Wow. Bought my girlfriend an arrangement from here and was a little concerned that they were going to pick from the market (given some parameters). Was pleasantly surprised that they sent an amazing bouquet of white roses that impressed her and all her co-​workers. :)
Only issue was that the delivery company they used was super challenging — my girlfriend had to give them directions (even though they had an address), stay on the phone with them, go down to the lobby of the building and literally chase them down. Took about :20 when she should have been working. And, they wouldn’t come up to her floor. Not exactly the luxurious experience you expect from a top-​end florist.
Great place (if a bit expensive) and would definitely use again — especially if they can sort out their delivery issues.

I’ve never written a Unilocal review before but the level of service at Gardenia Organic was above and beyond so I felt inspired to. Hannah was absolutely lovely and kind. I had an idea of what I wanted in looser terms that Hannah listened to and quickly got on the same page of. Just excellent customer service all around. The receiver found the flowers absolutely stunning and I have a new go-​to flower shop! Cannot stop swooning over Gardenia Organics instagram and thinking about flowers.

What a wonderful experience I had with this business. I never saw the flowers but the recipient said that they were beautiful and I have no doubt. Their customer service is flawless and I’m sure the quality of their arrangements are as well. Even when I left word in an email that I wanted to downsize my order there was no fuss no muss. Not one objection to my going from $ 125 to $ 75. I was so impressed. I would not hesitate to use this florist again. Thank you Gardenia Organic! It was a pleasure. :)

I’ve had the pleasure of ordering three separate arrangements from Gardenia Organic and the arrangements are consistently loved. The team ensures that you are in more-​than-​able hands. Flowers are selected the day of delivery and cards are hand written. You can even drop by their headquarters if you’d like to deliver an arrangement yourself!

Arrangements that border on art. Always a carefully focused color palette. They purchase their flowers at market the same day, so your arrangements last quite a while. One arrangement they built for me contained mint. Everything is considered, even the smell of the overall bouquet. Really spectacular place.

I must have emailed about six different florist regarding flowers for our wedding, and what I found is, unless you are planning a big to-​do, a lot of places just won’t bother with you– they literally just ignore you. This is the only one who emailed me back, and Hannah emailed me back right away, as well as updates and even a nice message the day before. She was very professional, and very courteous.
They delivered the flowers the day before to our room, and they were beautiful, and exactly like my picture I had sent. I never got to see the groom’s corsage, as it went missing from our hotel’s fridge, but the bridal bouquet was stunning, as well as the mothers’ and fathers’ corsages.
The prices were very reasonable, and the flowers were very high quality.

The only sustainable florist in New York, believe it or not. They really care about sourcing locally and organically. Having seen first hand the carbon footprint involved — nevermind associated issues — with importing flowers from overseas, this is really important.
Everyone at Gardenia Organic was really professional and friendly. The flowers were beautiful and well thought out. I’d definitely go back there.

First of all, their dedication to being socially responsible and reducing their carbon footprint is really refreshing. That was definitely a draw for me.
So this was no ordinary flower order. I was asking Gardenia to re-​create the centerpieces from our wedding for my wife. Hannah quickly responded to my email with all the information I needed, and what she envisioned the arrangement would look like. Other places just quoted me $ 300 and up to create exact replicas. Hannah’s creativity led to an amazing arrangement that my wife is still talking about. The price was very reasonable as well. The complete start to finish experience with Hannah & Gardenia was perfect. She is extremely friendly, service oriented, and responsive to emails & phone calls. Even with a big event they were planning for one evening she still managed to take care of my one arrangement.
This was by far the best arrangement I’ve sent to my wife, and there isn’t another florist I will turn to in the future. You need to look no further than Gardenia.

I used these guys after reading the great reviews on Unilocal and they did not disappoint. I ordered online and had them delivered to my girl’s office. She showed me a picture and they were great. Easy to use online and great arrangement. I will use them from now on.

This florist was UNBELIEVABLE! I made a same day order on valentine’s day and got a very reasonable deal. The flowers were gorgeous and the customer service was beyond accommodating (didn’t get the employee’s name but she had a British accent and was absolutely lovely). I will definitely be bringing my business back to this gem of a florist.

Simply stunning! I received an arrangement for Valentine’s day with red roses, tulips and purple calla lillys. The presentation and quality are amazing. From the paper packaging to the handwritten note atop a flower stem, these are the most beautiful perfect flowers I’ve received.
It should also be noted how fragrant they are. Just delightful!

Used twice now for gf birthday flowers, she loved them both times. Couldn’t be better.

It’s scary to send flowers to someone in a town where you don’t actually live. I didn’t want to send crap from any company that has a toll free number or the name of a communication device as part of their name (protip: stay away from Fax-​a-​flower, modem mums, or party-​line pansies), so I turned to Unilocal and was (as I usually am) glad I did.
Online ordering was a breeze, and I instantly received confirmation that everything was in good order. I sat back and grinned in expectation of how happy the birthday girl was going to be today.
I talked to the recipient of the flowers this afternoon and she was absolutely thrilled. She said the arrangement was incredibly beautiful and the service was impeccable. This morning, she received a call asking what times she would be home, a time was agreed upon, and the delivery person showed up at the exact time. Maybe these guys could consult for FedEx…

These folks are absolutely top notch, deliver a high quality product, and are surprisingly not much (if any) more than other local florists in Manhattan. I highly recommend Gardenia Organic and will do business with them again.

Was looking for a nice bouquet for a good price and happened to call Gardenia Organic. While it is not on the street it is worth the funny freight elevator ride or you can get delivery.
Called in, gave a price range ~$ 50 and they gave me a colors to choose from.
That day I picked up one of the nicest bouquets I have ever bought. It lasted for almost 10 days.
So impressed I took and added photos to this entry!

I love the idea behind all things environmentally & socially responsible but I’m not a fan of having to spend more moo-​lah just to show that I care. So when I came across Gardenia Organic in the latest issue of the New York magazine, my bouquet-​loving heart skipped a beat!
Gardenia Organic is NY’s first environmentally and socially conscious florist. They ensure that the flowers are grown without harmful pesticides (which not only harm us, but also the farmers that grow them), recycle vases, make delivery using rickshaws and other do-​good stuff (u can read all that on the website). And you know what the best part is? You pay just the same price as you would for the ugly+cheesy+enviro-unfriendly ones!
In order to congratulate my boyfriend on his new office, I decided to give Gardenia Organic a call yesterday. Not knowing what flowers i was looking for, I told Hannah (the owner) about my intentions and she made her recommendations without a moment’s haste. Later, she called me back and told me she just received a new shipment of tropical flowers (Proteas) and I was ecstatic! (Coincidentally, Proteas are a national symbol of South Africa, where my bf was originally from — hence my excitement!)
In under 5 minutes, Hannah got all my details down and despite the brief conversation we had, she somehow made me feel very comfortable. Maybe it had something to do with the way she spoke, confident yet assuring, that made me trust that she was going to do a good job. She knew the occasion, she knew it was for a guy, and when she told me what she was going to do with the flowers, which color tissue she was going to use, I knew I was in good hands.
At first, I was prepared to pay slightly more than usual because NY mag had mentioned that prices start at $ 65. And with exotic blooms, I thought it would cost even more. But guess what? The total bill came up to only about $ 42 (incl. tax)!!
My bf’s super impressed by the surprise and he thinks I spent a bomb cos it arrived at his office looking very chic in an understated but designer-​looking brown paper bag (recyclable, of course). I have yet to see the blooms for myself, but will post up pictures once I get my hands on them. =)
