Flamenco Latino is your one-​stop shopping for flamenco education in the city. Whether you are a brand new beginner looking to get your feet wet or an advanced student/​performer looking to polish your skills/​choreography, Flamenco Latino has just the thing for you! I am a dancer who went to FlamLat to learn cante so that I could get a better understanding of how the dance fits into the singing. I ended up staying for palmas class to help me learn more about the compas, and ensemble class which helped me work on my own choreography as well as learn more about playing palmas for other dancers. I had the privilege of taking private lessons with both Basilio and Aurora to fine-​tune some pieces for performance. I’ve taken some outstanding workshops with visiting artists there as well! I can’t recommend Flamenco Latino highly enough! Basilio and Aurora are master artists with lots of experience who are also outstanding teachers! Give them a chance to share their expertise and love of flamenco with you — it’s contagious!

Flamenco Latino is one of the best flamenco resources the city has to offer for anyone interested in learning flamenco dance or cante. It always schedules a rich variety of all types of traditional or modern dance and cante classes taught at varying levels by their wonderful staff as well as by guest artists invited directly from Spain. The rooms are spacious and pleasant. One shouldn’t miss the exciting performances Flamenco Latino always offers either. Aurora Reyes is a talented teacher and a very lovely person to work with! Flamenco Latino should be a must for every flamenco lover.
