FSG is one of the oldest and hands down, BEST of the Artist Run Not for Profit Co-​ops in NYC. It’s run by a vibrant, contemporary group of artists with a full time Gallery Administrator, a rarity among co-​ops.
The show that the reviewer below refers to was a huge, NATIONAL JURIED SHOW with over a
145 participating artists! There was a price list with every artist’s name, wall by wall & full information of every work — on the counter. What a cluttered mess if the walls had also been covered with names & titles.

Dropped in for a relative’s June/​July 2015 exhibit, to find some overburdened walls with no indication of the artist of name of the work. Two folks behind the desk were basically asleep and startled when they had a visitor. It’s currently on the second floor, not the 9th.
