Ferny’s is a great place for lunch around Mount Sinai Hospital. They have delicious, filling sandwiches and rice dishes. Also, the line moves very quickly.

For all of my Dominicanos right there up on broadway… Boooooooommm … ba dumdum. Boooooooommm … ba dumdum. Boooooooommm … ba dumdum. Serenading me with sultry salsa, a ruckus of reggaeton, and beautiful bachata, Ferny’s is a must for a lunchtime sandwich. The Madison Ave(ham, melted pepperjack, lettuce, tomato, & honey mustard) was served on warm bread, but not toasted, major plus. Plenty of seating for a well rounded mix of 5-ohs, Sinai snoots, seedy locals, normal locals, and panhandlers. Seven bucks for a filling sammich, 32 ounce gatorade, and people watching. No dogs were shot during this review.

*BURP* I eat way too much when I go here. Let’s break this down. Love the yucca Love the steak stew Love the tostones Love the free delivery Pat basically said it right and I am ashamed I have not reviewed them earlier because I have been a regular here for at least three years. A popular lunch spot for the Mt. Sinai lunch crowd, once you eat here, you will know why. I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and my dad even approved. I mean, for $ 6.50? and a free soda? all that damn food? Shamon, that cannot be denied.
