I was a little skeptical at first about this place since the store entrance did not look very welcoming/pretty but since it was the only place open past 5:00 on a Saturday evening, I decided to stop by to look for fabric for a Halloween costume. There were rolls and rolls of fabric everywhere, of different colors, shades, and materials. The staff is also very friendly. I explained to a sales associate that I was looking for solid colors in the cheapest material that they have, since the costume I wanted to make didn’t require material that was too fancy. He led me to the section with different cotton/poly-cotton fabric. Poly-cotton fabric was $ 4/yard, and 100% cotton fabric was $ 6/yard. Not bad at all! The costume I wanted to make also required different shades of blue. I pulled up pictures on my phone to show the sales associate what I was trying to go for, and he spent time helping me pick out the shades of blue. Then I explained to him how I wanted to make the costume, and he helped me determine how much of each color I needed. Ended up spending about $ 30 here for about 7 yards of fabric. They also sold a lot of other clothing materials, like zippers, sewing kits, thread, needles, etc. Will definitely be coming back for my fabric needs!

CRAFTSMISSION OBJECTIVE: FINDWHITEFELT, SEQUINS, FABRICGLUE&SCISSORS. FORCHEAP. In comes Fashion Fabric, signs in window reading«WEHAVEFELT!». Perfection. Service was helpful and eager to please, and we even got a free pen! If you’re looking for classy cloth you probably won’t find it here. Most of the fabric was garish/tacky/loud. I do give them props for picking up on the plaid/flannel trend, even though the color combinations were horrific. When a staff member informed me that they did not have«loosey goosey» sequins(His words, in South Asian accent. Amazing), he pointed me across the street where I found a decent selection of sequins and some generic fabric glue. I was very pleased with my shopping experience, and can’t wait to start working on my felt stockings!
