Food is good. Worked out the delivery issues from last time.

This is THEPLACE to get AUTHENTIC, yummy and nutritious Arab food. It is a small restaurant, family owned(owner is always on the counter and he is as friendly as it gets) and cozy. Totally a highlight of the neighborhood… and they’ve been around for quite a while!

I order take out once a week. Food is good and staff is extremely friendly. Recommend it as a quick healthy meal. My favorite is the shawarma sandwich.

DON’T DOIT! food is terrible and came with pitas on the side that were literally in an opened product bag. Pretty sure they but every single item from a store and dump it on the plate. Confirmed by insanely fast delivery time.

Fresh, tasty falafel, cooked to perfection. Everything seemed fresh. Not overpriced. I noticed a reviewer say the hot sauce was hot, we thought it was mild at best. If I lived nearby I’d be going again.

Quick, easy, yummy falafel, with the nicest guys working behind the counter. This is exactly what NYC is about! This is the easiest place to go if you’re in the neighborhood and don’t know what to eat.

Sure, they offer lamb and chicken here, but their best sandwich by far is the namesake falafel, with your choice of tons of toppings, all for under $ 4! This is a takeout joint kinda place so if you’re looking for a solid meal but not too worried about eating it elsewhere, then Falafel House is well worth the visit!

Every Unilocal user has a restaurant/establishment that they either hate so much or love so much they decide to make an account and write their first review. This is my first review on Unilocal, and I loved it. Cheap, low key, authentic, and unpretentious which are all rare qualities to find in this area.

If you’re looking for cheap, fast, and tasty Middle Eastern food on the Upper East, you can’t beat Falafel House. It’s refreshingly low key and unpretentious, a rarity in this neighborhood. Great for frugal vegetarians and omnivores alike, and their Turkish coffee is fantastic — good luck finding that anywhere else in the neighborhood! I’ve been coming here for years and I hope it sticks around.

I was craving falafels and saw this place while walking down 2nd Ave. ‘It has falafel in its name. it must have falafels!’ The falafels were very good and reasonably priced. The white sauce gave it a slightly more flavorful taste. The staff was friendly and definitely want to stop by again to try other things when I’m in the area.

Falafel House is open later than many establishments along the 2nd Ave subway construction black hole. Food is yummy and service friendly. Wish they’d knock the prices down $ 1−2…

So I think this place is «ok». Nothing special. I didn’t think the humus had much flavor which was extremely disappointing. I had expected more. Hot sauce was weak. My girlfriend had the deluxe felafel sandwich and she was very happy with it, but I tasted a piece and I thought the felafel was over cooked. So to each his or her own. I ordered the gyro. It was ok. I’ve had better. The one highlight for me were the stuffed grape leaves which both my GF and I felt were really good. So would I go back here — probably — but it really is only«ok». Additionally — this is really a take out place. I wouldn’t go to eat there.

Try it out! even if it looks dead. Give Second Ave a break, people. Delish falafel deluxe pita sandwich, spicy with everything! Fresh and yummy. Also try the semolina honey cake(basbusa sp?) for a change from baklava. My friend’s mother makes it but I rarely see it sold. Let it warm to room temp if(if you can wait). I’ll definitely come again when I want a fresh fast snack.

VERY cheap Super fast delivery Delicious tasteful, it is needed to ask for extra tahini sauce for the shawarma and if you are meat lover ask for extra lamb for the rest excellent for a hungry lazy night

The falafel salad for $ 6.50 is an amazing dinner deal on the UES! Great way to finish a crossfit workout. They’re on Levelup so you don’t even need your wallet.
