Yes a million times to this place. Out here on business for 5 days. This is the exact place to get that New York vibe. The cooks are a little harsh but I believe that’s the New York mixed with Italian! They are total sweet hearts once you break the ice! They can cook up a good dinner or breakfast! We walk there every morning for our usual coffee and bagel, at night I’ve had the vodka pasta! They started to remember me and my orders! Amazing! Can’t wait to come back! I read the reviews and understand where some people can see them come off as harsh! But hey! Their New Yorkers! They are down right amazing!

I think the only other review this place has is one star… it’s not one star, it’s not great but it’s not one star. A generic café with a bit of strange ordering system(boy you guys love a convoluted, complicated ordering process… I think Panera has reached the top of the axis on this one) Anyway, food was edible, didn’t finish it, but edible. Clientele… well I was one the youngest patrons(and you won’t hear me say that often these days: shakes fist at Father Time:) so that will give you an idea of its demographic. I wouldn’t return, but if your passing, it’s not one star.

I used to visit this Europan location whenever in the Lincoln Centre area and always found the food v good and service at least satisfactory. I was v disappointed to see it closed for renovations sometime in 2015 and delighted when, passing by there this past Wednesday evening(6 Jan. 2016), I saw that it was open again. My delight did not last long, however: though the place appeared to be still open and serving, the two«employees» behind the counter/register ignored me, clearly more interested in counting money and other things of this nature(since there was no sign with their operating hours, I had no way of knowing whether I had arrived too late to order). After a few minutes, the female behind the checkout informed me, in a rather irritated manner, that she had«already closed the machine»(IDK which one she was referring to); I asked whether I could order a latte, only to be ignored some more, and finally left. Never going there again, and I recommend that everyone else give this sorry excuse for a dining establishment wide berth. In my experience, this type of employee conduct is usually known to, and encouraged/modeled by, management, so I’m not going to waste any more time trying to make a complaint.
