Worst kosher shopping experience in Crown Heights. Everyone who works here is just plain rude. If I had to choose between eating treif and shopping here, I would eat the treif. That’s how bad the shopping experience is here. Avoid at all costs!

It’s a good supermarket with lots of products and the bread section is on point. I live across the street so it’s inevitable that I will shop there.
HOWEVER, in order to buy my groceries I have to endure multiple eye-rapings by half the men who work there, and I’ve often felt followed around the store, too. The cashiers also handle your food like it’s a dirty sock and throw it haphazardly into bags without any respect for the fact that you’re giving them business.

Local food entrepreneur Itzik Ben-Abu with now 4 food establishment in Crown Heights. The Empire Kosher Supermarket provides Fresh and Fair rates on entire Food and home product from on location bakery, to Glatt kosher meat, Dairy and produce.
Great Kosher for Passover selection when it comes close to Passover season around about March /April of every year.
