Come and eat at this place if you want your food wrapped around with HAIR!!! This place is NASTY! I’ve been in this Chinese spot personally and NONE of the cooks or the people up front have their hair tied up or with a hair net. This is the SECONDTIME my family orders from here and we find HUMANHAIR in the food. 1st it was just in one order, second time it was in 4 out of 6 orders!!! On top of that the delivery man NEEDS A BIGTIPORHEWILLLEAVECURSINGYOUOUT(has happened 3 times already) out of thankfulness I’ll tip him $ 5 and he’ll reply with a «that’s it?» And ride away on his bike screaming that I’m cheap and this or that.

Empire Garden is my new go to for food when I need something fast! The lunch specials are a particularly good deal at ~$ 6 for and entrée, rice, and soup which is always enough for 2 meals for me. The food is good, but the service is fantastic! I’ve ordered multiple times and they are consistently faster than Seamless’s estimate. My only slight complaint is that one time my bubble tea spilled in the bag. I’ve never had issues with big orders spilling, but I think it got a little bumped around this time since I only had one lunch special with it. Fortunately, they put the bubble tea in it’s own bag, so my other food was safe! Also the delivery guy is really nice!

I went in person and ordered«roast pork Lo Mein combination special with pork fried rice» I also ordered an egg roll, did take out. I get home and opened the styrofoam container and all they gave was a mountain of Lo Mein and 3 tiny scraps of pork. It was suppose to come with rice and they gave me NONE. The scraps of pork tasted old /frozen /stale. The Lo Mein looked and tasted like brown spaghetti. The egg roll had a really thick crust and a tiny bit of cabbage filling This was the worst Chinese food I ever had as a lifelong New Yorker-. When I called to complain about the missing rice they tried to blame me for THEIR mistake of ripping me off. This was my first and LAST time here. The Lo Mein and egg rolls are better at Hunan Chens kitchen on 109th street and Columbus and New Asia at 93rd street on Amsterdam. Avoid this place, go elsewhere.

There was a roach in my food. Luckily I had yet to begin eating, but it completely grossed me out and ruined my meal. I will never order from here again. I’d give them zero stars if possible.

I really liked the food! I got sweet and sour chicken combo. The red sauce was on the side and it was DELICIOUS. Love that it is clean and new in there. The counter clerks are super nice and the food came out in record time… I would definitely come back to this place to try more things off the menu. So far the sweet and sour chicken is much better than the other restaurants in the area FORSURE. I took away one star because the portions are little small… im 6ft 3185lb so i eat a lot and notice portions compared to other restaurants. With that being said… i still would come back because it was delicious!

Zero stars is not an option, but that’s what this place deserves. An absolute waste of money. They forgot the coke I ordered, so that was a waste of a buck. My beef chow fun was DISGUSTING. The tiny amount of beef it had was poorly cooked. I threw it out after 2 bites it was so bad. I figured I’d just eat my rice so I wouldn’t go to bed hungry, but after a couple bites I found two black hairs in it. I’m a redhead so, obviously not mine. I threw that out, too and went to bed with an empty stomach. To sum it all up, I ordered $ 20 worth of food and ate literally none of it because it was too disgusting to eat and obviously not from a hygienic place. I wouldn’t trust this place. I will definitely never order from here again.

This is a very welcome addition to the neighborhood. The food is solid, tasty Americanized Chinese fare. I particularly like their General Tso’s Chicken, chicken and beef with garlic sauce over white rice, fried dumplings, Singapore Mei Fun and, surprisingly, the chicken nuggets(although they really need to work on their french fries, which seemed to be on the stale side).
