A few years ago I took Elliot’s free trial class in the park. He made an inappropriate fat joke about my infant. Yes, you read correctly. He probably meant no harm but as all the adults around me laughed, I couldn’t help but be upset by it. I emailed him a very nice email explaining that while I’m sure he meant it only to be funny that it was in fact not appropriate. He wrote back a very invasive and offensive email and explained he meant that my daughter’s body was beautiful. But like I said, he never used those words. Anyway, 3 years later I have heard from a friend that Elliot tells a version of this story to his classes. He explains that a mother was upset when he called her child’s thighs beautiful. What he actually said was«the colonel called, he wants his thighs back» and nothing else, no follow up nice comment. Just a jab at my baby to entertain adults and now he goes around telling the skewed version of this story. Just wanted to share.

I’m surprised there hasn’t been more reviews posted as there are so many people that go here. We did the free infant classes for the first time this week and loved it! Our little babe(4.5 months) loved it too and we haven’t been able to stop singing the songs to her. It is a bit of a trek for us as we live downtown but we thought it was worth it!

We LOVE Elliott’s! So far we’ve done the free infant classes and a little bit of the 6 – 12 month classes. The infant classes are fantastic. Don’t let the«baby balancing» scare you — it’s incredible to see little tiny babies standing on their own. My son loved seeing all the other babies in this class, and it was a great way for me to meet other moms as well. The next level classes are really run as well, and I found them to be one of the more reasonably priced classes to do with babies.
