I lived in the 53^rd st building for 3.5 years and saw a huge overhaul in management about halfway through our residency. The new manager, Michael Conteduca, was amazing to deal with and really made our time in the building pleasant. After we went to Mike with our complaints about the non-​responsive superintendent, a new one was brought in who kept the building very clean and immediately responded to issues we brought up. Mike even checked in with us to ensure that the new super was properly doing his job. Since Mike came on board, there have been numerous upgrades, such as new front windows and a new fridge, with the outside of the building renovated as well. Any construction during this time was not invasive or disruptive either. It is rare to find apartment managers and supers in this city who genuinely care about the well being of their residents, but Elk seems to be the exception. I highly recommend working with Mike at Elk Investors.

What a great project total façade repair is being done new lobby and new outside steps the owner and property manager are on top of their game and go above and beyond for the tenants who live in this building. Wait and see how this building looks in mid November 2015.
