This is the worst run tennis program. The director and the teachers have no ability to organize class or students. They set up nets in busy playgrounds and the lessons constantly get interrupted. It was such a disappointment because the idea behind it was great, but with the current staff and leadership it seems to be failing on all levels. I would not recommend this program to anyone.

Bought a voucher through a deal site for 3 adult cardio group tennis classes, I have been trying to get through and schedule these classes but I don’t think they even exist. You have to call them and I guess if they have enough people and/or an available instructor they’ll have the class. Plus it looks like they mostly cater to lessons for children. This is too much hassle. I should have checked on this place and done my research before I bought the vouchers. Luckily the deal site refunded my purchase. I would not recommend this place to anybody, I’ll be looking for tennis classes from someone else who is a little more organized and has set times and set locations for their classes.

I first heard about Elf Tennis from . They had 3 tennis classes for $ 30 so my sister and I signed up. Our first«lesson» was cancelled 45 minutes before the scheduled time, and they sent the cancellation by email. On our second lesson, we received a confirmation to show up at 7pm. I met at 7pm along with 7 – 8 other students(we were told there would be 15 of us), and no instructor ever showed up. Also, my sister and I had signed up for an intermediate class, and everyone there was a beginner. Regardless, none of us ever received an email or call to let us know no one would be showing up. I am going to ask for my money back because this is the most disorganized, unreliable tennis class I’ve heard of. Not to mention they only respond occasionally to emails and do not pick up their phone. I suggest using for tennis classes in NYC.
