Worst. Dentist. Ever.
Our son saw him for three years (maybe two), during which time we kept asking him about teeth that looked discolored, broke (yes, broke), and other issues. He said everything was fine – no cavities or that broken teeth would grow back (true. they would, but it would just take 5 years, during which the tooth would have absessed.), Regardless, we believed him because he was a professional, and we wanted to believe him because he took our insurance.
After another broken tooth, I took our son to my dentist, who said that 5 baby teeth needed to be pulled and that others needed fillings.
To make a long story only slightly longer, we switched dentists, ended up paying $ 3450 for extractions and will be out another $ 2500 for space maintainers, to keep the teeth where they would have been had they not been pulled.
So even though he was covered under out insurance, using Piesman cost us about $ 6,000, and I worry we’re not done yet.
