It’s a Dunkin’ Donuts. If you aren’t feeling burned tasting coffee and want some sugar coated fried dough, there’s no better place than DD. This particular location is no better or worse than all the rest. Since my munchkin’s piano teacher is a block away, I find myself with a free hour to Unilocal,check emails, and enjoy a hazelnut iced coffee.

There are three Dunkin’s on Steinway from Astoria blvd to Northern blvd. Every store pretty much has same quality of food and beverage and offerings. The one on 31st and Astoria blvd is 24 hrs though which is nice.
Because of the lack of quality customer service, this location is positively the worst of the three. It’s really not that difficult to take a coffee order and be friendly about it. A lot of opportunity for management/​owners here.
Love Café a few doors down will be 100x better experience, but it’s cash only and they close at 8pm.

Service and order is pretty much as reviewed. Rude/​abrupt service even though it was not busy. They also demanded cash and would not take a card. Ordering was far more difficult than it should have been and they rushed and forget things from the order. I guess if I was reaaaalllly in need of a bunch of calories I would deal with them again… Most likely will just go to another location if the donut/​coffee craving hits.

Eh, it’s a Dunkin Donuts. It’s coffee. It’s donuts. What more can be said about this one other that it’s right outside the steps to the N/​Q subway to head back a few stops into Manhattan.
DD’s DarK Hot Chocolate and a belly bomber chocolate glazed donut hit the spot last night before heading onto the subway platform.
Had no problem with service here other than it seems they one guy behind the counter could not understand English too well. Place is a little worn looking but I’m sure it gets a lot of traffic being right outside the steps to the subway. Open 24⁄7. Free wifi. Baskin Robbins also here to even appease your ice cream cravings.

Service was EH… always make sure they’ve given you the correct order. I had to go back because they charged me for a donut I ordered. and didn’t give it to me.
A frequent goer there was furious because he had waited so long for his breakfast and realized they had given his order to someone else.

After reading other Unilocalers’ reviews, I guess I’m lucky. I’ve never felt rushed (then again, I usually know what I want before I get to the counter). I do notice that some of the customers just sit by the window and talk to themselves. I thought maybe they had Bluetooth headsets on but I verified that many don’t.
It’s located by the southeast stairwell for the 36th Ave stop on the N/​Q (or whatever train happens to be running that day) line so there’s usually people going in for their morning cup of coffee.

service is so important in a food experience. ive lived in this neighborhood all my life and ive never had such BAD SERVICE from an establishment. maybe b/​c they think it’s dunkin donuts and they are above everyone else but… the rush you feeling? and the pick up your damn coffee quick or i’ll yell at you feeling? or the yell at you at that screechy level for NO REASON feeling? you can find it ALL at this location. the ladies behind the counter are soooo… for a lack of a better term… BITCHY. also. EVERY dunkin donuts ive been to puts sugar in your coffee if you ask them to. this one «IF YOU WANT SUGAR, PUT IT IN YOURSELF!» yelled at. so… if you want a side of bitch with your morning fix, surely, visit the Dunkin Donuts on 36Ave.

Rude service! The people at the counter will either rush you or ignore you for a bit… and then rush you. They also once sold me a bag of expired coffee beans. I complained to their HQ and although they responded, this specific franchise ignored the complaint.
I’d recommend going to the very friendly, neighborhood bakery on the same block (Oven Treats, 3114 36th Ave).

I don’t know if they are very busy when I’m not there or something else… But most of the time they are short in something that I want… Other than this they ok…

This location has the worst service. I went in and saw the employee sitting on the counter. She mad eye contact with me and still sat there and did nothing. I was ready to order and she was then talking to someone on the phone. Not the best.

i pretty much go here every morning to get my coffee. i really thought they would know me by now, but they still ask me for what i want and how i want my coffee :(
but their service is really fast and efficient. sometimes there can be a long line between the hours of 9 – 9:30am, but it always goes by real quick. i never get the that, «hurry the f*** up feeling.»
