About every other block in New York, you have a Duane Reade (now owned by Walgreens). This one was a relatively small store, but it’s fast and not too crowded. I found what I was looking for in 2 seconds.

A Walgreen’s at midtown prices. Perfect for that spontaneous, gotta-​get-​it-​now, drug store item. Store is tiny and aisles are cramped. Selection can be limited, especially if looking for a specialty item. Store doesn’t seem to be organized very well. Sometimes opens up to 10 – 15 minutes late.
