First, it’s like bum central in front of the store.
Next, the place is disorganized — when you need help, you can’t find anyone and they don’t even seem to know where anything is.
The workers are filled with staff who obviously don’t want to be there, joke around behind the counter, and take their time to make the time go by since they’re being paid hourly.
If you were to take a drug store and let a bunch of high schoolers run it, it’d run smoother than this Duane reade.

I’m really surprised there are no reviews yet. It is a very attractive and clean store. The increased space certainly leaves lots of room for their wide array of merchandise. The 3rd floor is a welcome perk. It’s not Sephora but they do have a wide array of regular brands and new higher end choices There is staff that are educated about their products and make up techniques. I recently tried their new Vincent Longo products at the suggestion of the consultant. All of the consultants personal make up is perfection. They are knowledgable and exceptionally nice. What can I say? I’m a make up junkie and I really like this new kind of experience in a chain drug store. The first floor staff are also very nice. You do get your prescriptions in 10 minutes! Pretty nice for a DuaneReade !
