DTX Cellular Evolution

Have been coming here since they opened and I love everything about it. All of the therapists are wonderful and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is very modern and cool and most of all very clean and comfortable. I love both the colonics and the infrared sauna. Would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

I have been a loyal customer here for months and purchased many sauna packages. Overall, the customer service is phenomenal and the sauna rooms are extra clean.
Why the four stars? Because there always seems to be an issue about the temperature in the sauna. Either there is something wrong with the electrical or another issue causing the sauna not to reach the ideal maximum temperature.

Horrible experience. I never went to this place and I never will. I called to enquire about infrared sauna. I wanted to come in to pay cash and that’s it. The person who answered the phone was very difficult, kept me on the phone for 20 min arguing with me that in order to make an appointment I have to give a credit card #. I said that will never happened. I will stop by pay cash and that’s it. She was so stuck on getting my credit card information that I lost interest about going. Manhattan so many places have infrared saunas for $ 25 dollars per session like gravity east village and AB slim spa why is this place charging $ 40 and on top of that gives a song and a dance about credit card upfront ??? The place of WELLNESS… NOT !!! The main agenda is to get your credit card number I think I will pass… Go somewhere else people.

A dear, trusted friend sent me here after I reported extreme fatigue, constipation and an overall bloating in my gut. Having never experienced a colonic before, I had my reservations but they were quickly dispelled once I walked into the office. The serene, beautifully designed environment was immediately welcoming.
Armando is the perfect guide to one’s first colonic experience. He explained the process and DTX’s particular methods (their use of gravity as opposed to the blast method) clearly and succinctly. It’s not easy laying on your back with a tube going up your rear end but these people are pros and not for one minute did I feel awkward or uncomfortable.
Armando’s calm bedside manner was incredibly supportive, and I even got a fairly sizable lesson in nutrition which has helped set me on a path of healing, the benefits of which I am seeing increasingly on a daily basis. I’m extremely grateful for this place.

I started my New Year out with a fasting/​juicing cleanse that recommended I perform enemas (on my own), well this made my Mother (3000 miles away) nervous, so I went online and googled ‘colonics NYC’ where I checked out a few websites and reviews. Thankfully I came across DTX’s website! I called Wednesday and booked an appointment for that Saturday. The DTX employee on the phone was very sweet, knowledgeable and helpful. She answered all my questions and gave me the simple instructions to prepare for my appointment. I arrived at DTX Saturday about 10 minutes early for my appointment. Michelle greeted me at the front with a smile. The office is very clean, warm, cozy and it smelled amazing. I took off my jacket, boots and hung them up. I was then greeted by the wonderful Rhian, my colonic therapist. From the beginning to end of my colonic, Rhian was warn, gentle, engaging and so knowledgeable, willing to share her experiences and answer questions about the process, nutrition… etc… For some, I am sure this ‘procedure’ is not the most comfortable way to spend a part of their day, but Rhian makes it as pleasant as possible, is very professional and did I mention gentle? It was an amazing experience for me. Fasting and juicing for a full week before was beneficial for my colonic. As I exited the room, Rhian met me to ask how I felt. I paid my money to Michelle, she didn’t try to sell me anything, asked me how I felt and wished me a great day. Just to confirm, I have never been to DTX before this appointment. I am not related to anyone at DTX. I am looking forward to my next visit to DTX for my 2^nd colonic. I will also enjoy their infrared sauna on my next visit! Good luck to you!

Can’t even begin to tell you how incredible this place is. Clean, friendly, always a pleasure going as I make it a must each month. The perfect get away to keep my health where it needs to be via the colonic and Sauna. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff providing the best experience. I’ve recommended several friends here and everyone thanks me and says the same thing. The ONLY place you should consider if going to get a Colonic and or infrared sauna.

I have been getting colonics for the last 8 years. I have been to most of the well-​known colonics places in the city and have tried both methods — machine and Woods Gravity. I ONLY go to DTX for colonics and sauna. Here is why —
1) Knowledgeable, Experienced People: Everyone I have encountered at DTX is intelligent, well-​informed and helpful regarding colonics, plus most of the colon hydrotherapists there have years of experience. I personally see Armando, and sometimes Sasu. I have also seen Mavon. DTX does the Woods Gravity method of colonics. In my personal experience, this method is superior to the machine method.
2) Water Filtration: DTX has an excellent water filtration system. This is very important when selecting a colonics establishment, I don’t think I need to elaborate why.
3) Luxurious, Peaceful Atmosphere and Impeccably Clean: The décor of DTX is very elegant, understated and is always spotless. Of course they sterilize the instruments they use. I call it the «Saks Fifth Avenue» of colonics. Plus the saunas are in individual private rooms that have a private shower.
4) Price point: DTX is not exorbitantly priced compared to similar places in Manhattan that do colonics. I have found places that are cheaper and places that are more expensive. A single colonics session will run you $ 130. I think that price is fair for what you receive: well-​filtered water going up your a**, a knowledgeable, experienced person guiding you through the process in a clean, upscale, professional setting.
Whenever someone I know asks me about colonics, I always refer them to DTX. I highly recommend this place.

I arrived at DTX in much need of a colon cleanse. The receptionist was very pleasant and DTX, while small, was clean and brightly lit.
I was assisted by Jen who was ready for me as soon as I arrived (same day appointment). The first thing I noticed in the room was that there was no weird scent. I have had a ton of cleanses before using the ColenZ machine. I will never go back to that machine now that I’ve experienced the Woods methodology. I didn’t even know that I was expelling anything because it was so comfortable, and there’s an efficient way of expelling waste.
I liked that when my cleanse got intense, I asked Jen for silence and she accommodated. She’s very friendly and knowledgeable and I recommend her and DTX.
I do hope they get on Groupon or LifeBooker though. I’m accustomed to paying $ 80 in Jersey for a colon cleanse and here it was $ 135.
Either way, I recommend you give them a try.
