Dr. Yon Lai House of Braces

I like this office! I got my braces on at 13 and it took about 4 years which may seem long BUT due to my case, it was necessary. In my experience, the staff was welcoming and the doctors were also very professional and kind. Dr. Lai always answered any questions and concerns I or my mom had. The staff can speak a collection of English, Chinese, Burmese and there’s a few doctors who can speak spanish.
Try to schedule a morning appointment! It is a very busy office, seeing about 50 – 70 patients a day so the wait can get long especially in the afternoons when people get outta school/​work. You can get a doctor’s note and hey, you get a pass from going to class!
They also have a huge tv where they play pretty good movies to pass the time.
Sometimes going for an appointment would be inconvenient but they’re really chill about rescheduling. The only problems I’ve seen are when there are patients who didn’t cooperate and didn’t keep their teeth clean or wear their rubberbands. I’ve realized in orthodontics, the patient has just as much responsibility as the doctor.
Overall, I had a great experience!

I came to Dr. Yon Lai’s House of Braces to get my teeth straightened with braces, my experience was really good. Dr. Yon Lai was very professional and made me feel comfortable, he works quickly and I did not experience any major discomfort during any adjustments which is impressive considering how uncomfortable it feels afterwards when your teeth actually start moving. If you do feel any discomfort afterwards like your braces scratching your gums then they also provide dental wax.
The staff made sure I had all the information I needed, regarding treatment and payments, then about foods I can or can’t eat, how to wear my rubber bands, and they were very friendly and answered any questions I had.
Making an return appointment was very easy, the receptionists speak multiple languages (They are fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, English) and are very polite and attentive when speaking to you. The office is very clean and there is an amazing view from the windows in the waiting room, they even play a movie as you wait which I really appreciate for days when there many patients. I recommend House of Braces if you’re looking for an orthodontist as they’re a reliable clinic and every time I go there to get my re-​adjustments the staff treat me well and do things quickly.
My treatment is almost over and there is a huge difference from the beginning, so I’m really happy with the results!

Dr. yon Lai is the best orthodontist ever. He professional and funny. He will explain and discuss various treatment plan and payment plan with you.
The staffs are nice and friendly. The office is very clean. Love this clinic So much.
