Dr. John L Zboinski, DPM

Dr. Z is a wonderful podiatrist who took plenty of time with me and went
out of his way to help get me a safe medication for a persistent issue (one no other podiatrist had ever mentioned). And it worked very well! He was totally approachable and fair, I got an appointment quickly and I would recommend him to anyone.

I could not be happier with the care and treatment that I received from Dr. Zboinski and his staff. I first came to Dr. Zboinski after fully rupturing my Achilles tendon 4 years ago. He was the only Dr. out of 12 that I called that offered to squeeze me in within a few days of the rupture, which is important because the longer you wait the more permanent the damage can be. He was thoughtful, professional, patient, and clear. Also, he did not recommend any pricy and unnecessary extras like an MRI or an X-​Ray. He knew right away what was wrong and what needed to be done. He said if it made me more comfortable to have an X-​Ray or MRI that he would recommend one, but I was more than comfortable and confident with his diagnosis. He saved me a lot of time and money.
I have seen 2 other orthopedists and 4 physical therapists in Los Angeles and Milwaukee since Dr. worked his magic and all of them have gone out of their way to tell me that my Achilles Tendon repair is the best work they have ever seen.
My leg has never been stronger and I have regained all of my strength and movement and I have Dr. Zboinski to thank for that. I have refereed several friends to him and they too have been amazed by his skill and care. I highly recommend Dr. Z for any foot, ankle, or tendon issues you may have; there is no one better and his peers all agree.

I had a pretty poor experience here.
1. The staff is very rude — talking on the phone with them is difficult. They do not have any patience.
2. Waiting time is very long. I came in multiple times and had to wait quite a while.
3. Doctor is alright, but recommended some pricey treatment that could have reasonably been waived. You can find a much better podiatrist in the city.
