I’ve had my head shots taken by a number of photographers throughout the years. Douglas was by far THE BEST! I never dreamed I would have such beautiful head shots that #1 Look like me, #2 show my personality without my face look crazy. He captured my best facial qualities AND personality (which is very rare and hard to do). He also (and this is a big one) taught me to love my smile, which was an insecurity I had always dealt with. I highly recommend him. He is so reasonably priced for the quality of pictures he takes.
ALSO, I can’t sign off without talking about his make up artist, Sara. She was incredible. Such a talented make up artist with a heart of gold. She makes you look beautiful without making you look different. It’s just a heightened YOU. She knows how to highlight your features so subtly that it shows up looking natural and beautiful on camera. She was so caring and committed to me the whole time. The two of them make such a great team.
Needless to say, I had a flawless experience with them.

I just had an amazing headshot session with Doug. He’s extremely nice, funny and easy-​going. He is very helpful in helping you choose the best looks for the shoot and understanding your «type» and the best way to market you for Casting Directors. During the shoot he will give you very simple and straight forward direction. Most of what he does is bring out different sides of yourself by talking to you, making you laugh and making you feel comfortable in showing who you are to the camera. It’s clear he knows about photography and what looks good, but the most important thing for a headshot photographer is to be able to bring out the inner life in actors and he is great at that. My session went by pretty quickly, so he shot an extra look for me for free, which was very nice of him. If you are afraid of the camera, feel awkward when being photographed or this is your first time doing this, Douglas is the guy. I recommend him for beginners and professionals alike.

Doug was terrific to work with. He made time immediately in his busy schedule, and was very warm and welcoming once I arrived. His hair and makeup artist was incredible (I was actually worried whether that would be the case and had almost gotten my hair done elsewhere first – I’m glad I didn’t!) and the ambiance was nice and relaxed. He offered to play my music, and helped talk me through some of my wardrobe choices. Just as importantly though, Doug was really, really helpful with follow-​up. I picked the shots I wanted retouched, and through email he quickly accommodated. Then he helped me find where to get them printed, and followed up to make sure everything worked out. Months later, while designing my website I decided I wanted one or two more photos retouched. He responded right away, and within just a day I had my new photographs. His retouching is terrific, his attitude is great and the prices are affordable.
