I bought a set of bureaus many years ago at this store. They were irresistibly attractive, nice design, solid cherry façade, reasonable price. Two years later, they began their decline. The fronts fell off the drawers, one by one. Evidently they were put together with the cheapest glue. The drawers’ insides warped even though they weren’t near a heating element. I was inspired to write this review so long after my purchase because another piece fell off and once again I have to pay the super to reglue it with proper glue. Every time I get madder and madder. Thank God now there’s Unilocal now so I can vent.

STAY AWAY!!! They are in bankruptcy, not paying, and not delivering. NO REFUNDS are being given for non delivered items. CALL THE NYS ATTORNEY GEN asap.

In my continual search for an entertainment center at bargain prices, I was lead here for its vast selection of designer furniture and variable office equipment. The sales associates here were nice and helpful, but the place like any furniture store was spacious and virtually dead. I didn’t notice any major sales during my time here but was informed that a majority of their stuff was discounted so severely that sales didn’t happen as often as other places.
Overall, they had a good selection of stuff but I couldn’t bring myself to buy an entertainment center despite all of the nice ones they had to show me. I came here with another friend and we settled for a much cheaper store that offered virtually the same thing. I would still consider coming back here, as it inspired me to realize what it was that I actually wanted.
