My primary referred me to Dr. Tate multiple times over the past few years, and each time, I have been treated in a horrible manner by his secretary Camille. It has always been impossible to get a straight answer out of her about anything, but today she hung up on me after telling me to never call back again. I was trying hard to be polite, and this behavior really threw me for a loop. I don’t know if Dr. Tate is any good or not, but I wouldn’t trust anyone who would employ such a horrible person.

I have seen Dr. Tate for about 2 years. I chose him because he was close to my job and he took my insurance. After 2 years of being his patient and trying my best to get better, he dropped me as a patient because he was unable to help me. I have never heard of a doctor dropping a patient for this reason, but I believe he is not experienced enough to help severely depressed people. He takes forever to get back to you and can become nasty and arrogant if you question him. He shows very little compassion. I stuck with him for so long because I desperately wanted help. He was one of a few that took my insurance.
