Worst sky club I’ve ever been to! Few choices of food that is cold. Firstly tables everywhere. Worst Bloody Mary around. Should’ve looked for the AMEX priority lounge!

Although it’s still a major disappointment for a city like New York to have a sky club like this in the city’s main airport, I won’t say that it’s all bad news. The food is fresh, particularly the vegetables such as carrots and celery. There were a couple good salads, such as zesty chickpea and Greek. Chicken tortilla soup was decent, although they majorly skimped out on actually putting chicken in there. Not much food selection otherwise. Tea selection is pretty good. Where they do shine is the staff, who are very nice, quick and accommodating. Although paying for a sky club like this would be a colossal waste of money, if you have status or first class international tickets, it’s a good alternative to sitting at airport restaurants. Design wise, it’s clearly been renovated with new furniture. However, it does still feel very cramped with low ceilings and a lack of good runway views. I understand it’s hard to turn a building this old into something decent, so they’ve done an ok job.

Im becoming a total lounge lizard. Delta measures up in all areas, aesthetic, amenities, provisions and service. Clean, neat and stocked, the bar and dining area meet even a Vegans needs. Subdued hues with accents in red and blue make it a perfect airport lounge. Good amount and variety of seating and tables. They have Starbucks with all the trimmings. If you aren’t flying first you can get in with Amex Platinum card. Happy flying!

If you are traveling using Delta, and you have a lot time and don’t know what to do to kill it, this is a great option to kill it, away from annoying guest, children, crew of people. Very comfortable and spacious. Not loud despite how many people are here. Delta Sky Club offer a great selection of drinks, food, buffet and free Wi-Fi. You have several option to pay to join the Delta Sky Club, paying $ 29.00 per guest and per visit, One-Year Rate: of($ 450.00 or 70,000 miles) or One year rate paying $ 39.99 each months. The staff are all over the place keeping the tables and floor clean and assisting all the patrons and refilling the buffet. The bartender are nice and fast with good option and knowledge drinks. They have comfortable seating and several TV. The hours that this club is open for the public is from 5AM — 12AM, in the terminal 5, they also have showers to the delta customers. Over all if you are a big traveler I think is club worth it.

Wow! This is a very nice lounge and it is huge! Plenty of seating near a power source so everyone is able to charge their phones/laptops/tablets. The selection of snacks is great and free drinks — it doesn’t get any better!

Not the best Delta sky club I’ve been to but it has the snacks, soups, free drinks and wifi so who can complain that much.

This sky club is the only good thing in this terminal. It’s up to date, has good food options and a good selection at the bar. I took advantage of the shower last time I was there. It was nice to have after a long flight.

Terminal 2 is a dump. No matter how many new restaurants and shops they put in and decorate with fancy wallpaper Terminal 2 is still the ugliest terminal in the continental United States. I gave three stars because workers are exceptionally nice. They are helpful and patient, especially in the middle of snow storm when everything else is on halt and people seem to go nuts. I know Delta has given face lift for terminal 2 location, and i am sorry to say it’s time to rebuild the whole terminal.

Any airline club is better than the pandemonium which reigns at the gates in most airports; this is even more true at JFK’s Delta Terminal 2 which is the most congested and outdated terminal I’ve had the displeasure to fly in and out of for the last two years. So, thank you for the peace and quiet(as long as there are no Aussies on holiday) Delta Sky Club! The well booze is free, the wasabi peas in the snack mix zingy, and the service is welcoming. Don’t pay to come to this club, but if you’re a member already through status or what not, definitely take advantage of this mini, remodeled oasis. The atmosphere may remind you of your white collar office ghetto, especially with all the people still working on their electronic devices and yammering secretively away on their phones. I however am relaxing by writing a Unilocal review on my electronic device, but maybe I look like a master of the universe too and maybe they’re just wondering«Who is that man typing furiously away on his phone… should I sell or buy?» Always keep them guessing. Safe travels all! PS The bathrooms are way better too. This Isaac Mizrahi hand soap, now that’s class, right?

I have no real complaints about the lounge. I thought the customer service at the front was good, though I didn’t see one other employee the entire hour I was there. The breakfast selection was Meh, had some over-cooked eggs and other continental b-fast options as well as oatmeal. The coffee machine was just ok. I was really looking for something that excited me, but I didn’t find it. Also, my husband went at night(8pm) and there was no food out at all– which is kinda crazy since they still charge the same amount! The seating here is ok, again nothing special– I was looking for a spot to spend an hour and didn’t see anything that looked extra comfy or cool. HOWEVER!!! The bathrooms are beautiful and felt luxurious, had nice products as well. Saving Grace for the $ 40 A weird selection of magazines, but you can take copies for the plane, so that’s pretty cool too. There’s no centurion lounge at JFK, but that’s the coolest lounge i’ve been to.

Is the T-2 Sky Club much better than it was before? Yes. Is it all it can be? No. After what seemed like a long renovation(or perhaps I’m just in the airport too much), the Sky Club renovation is complete. The layout is greatly improved and like most Sky Clubs it has the new food selections throughout the day. Where they needed to step it up was increased outlets and that is precisely where they failed. There are a few more strategically placed below counters but the nicer, more comfortable chairs are light years away from usable power sources. Seriously Delta? I was able to find one lonely tall chair that had a ground outlet in front of it(see my pictures — make a left away from the checkin desk and go out to the auxiliary room). Otherwise, you’ll have to stick close to the walls if you care to top off your charge. They still have showers(with a special request to enter) and no they’re not as nice as T-4 but will do in a pinch. I will say overall they seem to be less crowded here(and security is definitely quicker here overall in T-2) but lacking outdoor space(spoiled in T-4) and what is merely a cosmetic makeover hurts the overall appeal.

Have had mixed experiences here. As others have noted it is perpetually crowded. If you have a guest with you(that you must pay admittance for) they can readily deny selling one-day passes due to ‘capacity’(which is fine but can there be a wait list?) I have had negative experiences with the check-in staff. They seemed annoyed that I wanted to use the main sky club because I was flying out of another terminal(I arrived 3 hours ahead of my flight — plenty of time to get the 2 minute shuttle back to Terminal C).

The T2 Sky Club is the red headed stepchild of the JFK Sky Clubs(granted, n=2). Staff is super friendly, but it’s depressing in here. And to boot, power outlets are sparse and the furniture is pretty ghetto/uncomfortable. Regardless, it’s still 100x better than being in the main part of the airport. Time to renovate!

Looks like some businesses still care about customer experience. A couple of months after I wrote my review bemoaning the inadequacies of this club, I witnessed the remodeling of this place. As painful as the process was for the passengers who used the Sky Club while the renovation was underway, the finished product is quite good. The seating area has been expanded, the furnishings have been updated, and the snack options, while still not great, are much better than before. The staff is extremely pleasant. I am glad Delta decided to invest in this club, and change it from the dismal den that it had become to a perfectly A-OK place to get work done as we wait for our flights to start boarding.

This Sky Club was a welcomed haven for relaxation and a nice shower after taking the red eye from California to JFK. It wasn’t very crowded being early in the morning. The shower was particularly nice, very clean, and had all the essentials.

The staff was so great! Friendly, cool personalities and caring. I was trapped at JFK all day bc I was super cool and missed my flight. For $ 50 this sky club saved me. I took a shower in what turned out to be the cleanest loveliest bathroom I could have imagined. I napped in their quiet room(thank gawd!), I got some fresh air, I used all of their wifi, I ate most of their cookies and drank some of their complimentary whiskey. This club turned what could have been a miserable day into a mini-vacation. Thanks, all you staff(and cute bartenders)!

First — the upside to the(non-terminal 4, flagship) SkyClub @ JFK: great WiFi access. Now the downside: perennially overcrowded(except after 9 pm on weekday nights), poor food selection, not enough power outlets, renovations at the Terminal 2 location, and one of the most disjointed layouts ever. It is, however, one of the few places at JFK to have a semi quiet phone call and, if you’re one of the lucky few to get in there on a non-crowded day or night, recharge your iPhone and iPad. I’ve been to a ton of SkyClubs and the JFK selection(aside from terminal 4, as that is a review in a category all it’s own) are a bit on the disappointing sides.

The challenge here is not the renovations that are supposedly underway, but the general decline of the whole Sky Club idea. Before much longer people will jam in here for the chance to be bitten by a rat just to say they waited in Delta’s Sky Club. Ok, I guess that is a bit extreme, but if Delta really wanted to have a Sky Club that served customers who routinely overpay for airline tickets for such privileges, here are a few things that could help, renovations or not… 1. Customer service that is befitting a first-class operation. 2. A bar that was not all about charging for everything but the cheapest well drinks. 3. The return of the white chocolate pretzels that everyone actually liked. 4. Something besides celery, carrots, and a couple of processed salty snacks to eat.(Is this a club or a prison?) 5. Clean restrooms. Spotlessly so. 6. Readily available things such as newspapers, tea, coffee, and service without having to go to the front desk or bar. If these things are too much to ask, maybe the Sky Club is an idea whose time has passed.
