Stomach-ache! Ordered once, ok. Twice, ok. Third time, no bueño. Ordered via Seamless, cool. Food came: Rasta Pasta with Shrump, Ginger Lemonade and Carrot Cake. Sounds tasty, huh? Pasta tasted ok, but smelled funny. Tasted a shrimp… oh-oh, this is the problem. Called restaurant to let them know, shrumo was old, bad, whatever, … no answer. I called Seamless(awesome customer service), they took my order # and called the restaurant to raise the alarm… no help… seems like they are having not only food, but phone issues! Beware, you don’t want to end up on the bathroom(several times) like I did. They had stars, now no stars. You have to at least be responsive to your customers.

Several of us came to DelroyS after performing at the Kings late on April 27th. The staff were super-friendly, the food was absolutely awesome, and we danced for hours. I ordered the fried chicken and regular fries — the chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the fries just right.

Not sure if the other reviewers are repeat customers or not but I am. I’ve order Via Grubhub at least 6 times. I can honestly say only 2 of the 6 times I’ve ordered from there my order was correct. The Rasta pasta is awesome. That’s not the issue though. Their customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE. Tonight I ordered just a Chicken & Shrimp Rasta Pasta this order alone cost me $ 22. I happily gave the delivery guy a tip and took my food upstairs. I finally open my food and realize that there wasn’t any chicken inside of my Rasta Pasta just shrimp. On the website just shrimp Rasta pasta is only $ 14-$ 16 so naturally I called, I tried every single number attached to this place and everyone was«busy.» Grubhub couldn’t get in contact with them and I already decided that I just wanted a full refund and that’s it. As I mentioned earlier this wasn’t the first time they got my order wrong. So I finally walk down to the restaurant which was more than a few blocks away but I was on a mission. The lady behind the counter/beads was really nice however the owner Delroy was very nasty and dismissive he literally waved me off and said give her her money back. He didn’t offer an apology or anything his only words was where’s the food. He didn’t even look at me. So as I was waiting for my $ 22 another customer made an order and they wanted macaroni salad or something like that and one of the other«chefs»(none of which had on gloves or anything chef like) mentioned that there wasn’t anymore of what the customer ordered and Delroy the owner says«Oh, just give them coleslaw.» Now that right there is the problem with this place. They NEVER offer a courtesy call saying hey we don’t have this but we can give you this or take $ 1 off your order. They just give you whatever they see fit for you to have. It’s not ok. This place needs to get it together.

Glad I made this choice! The jerk burger is the definition of a jerk burger! Sweet potato fries were on point and I wish they gave more. The carrot cake is delicious! Delivery time was ideal and delivery guy was nice. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Ok. The Village Voice recently ranked NYC’s Jerk Chicken. They named Exquisite #1 and Peppa’s #1a. They can probably stick Delroy’s Jerk smack in the middle of the argument. I followed my nose to Delroy’s one hot summer day to find the man himself over the smoker. Got a couple of legs right off the grill and oh man — perfect! Been back there a number of times and every time was dead on. Bonus points — Delroy’s has a neat little bar if you walk through the cozy garden. Here’s hoping that with the Kings Theater opening just around the corner in a few months, Delroy’s will blow up. The man deserves it, he’s a great guy. *Note — this is NOT the Delroy’s on Fenimore
