At first I didn’t know how I felt about this play. It was mediocre for me. I saw Delirium’s Daughters weeks ago and it left me speechless. I saw another play today and it was bad, so it actually made Delirium’s Daughters a little better for me. Sometimes things are relative. This play was very Shakespeare-esque but the accents were off. There were parts of the play that left me feeling like there is a huge question mark on my head. It was a super silly play. This play didn’t leave me much to say about it after I saw it.

This did not particularly move me. It was almost a knock off Shakespeare-style romp, but produced and acted as a college level production. As an audience member, I really had to suspend disbelief as to a lot of the scenarios, dialogue and poor cross dressing. I think that may have been the point, but I spent most of the show wondering what the hell was happening. The camp was nowhere near as over the top to seem as if it was a comedy of errors, and as a result, I could not relate to the serious moments because I could not connect to the story in general. I spent most of the 70 minutes confused, but in a negative capacity, as I am still not sure what the point or purpose of the play was.
