Went here the other day with a friend and although it is cute and quaint, the food is awful. I had a chocolate and strawberry crêpe. I would first like to say, there may be a strawberry shortage I am unaware of since there was one cut up strawberry in my dish. The chocolate tasted like cheap quality and was so sweet my teeth rotted. My friend ordered a salmon crêpe, but did not like it either. According to him it was«gross and didn’t taste fresh». On the other hand, the waiter was very sweet and attentive ATTHERESTAURANT, but(see below) he sent me a scathing letter via Unilocal for my review so that no longer applies. The food took average time, but it should be faster since there’s never anyone in there. I don’t imagine this place will last long. If you’re looking for a crêpe(especially a gluten free one), try somewhere else. **Edit: I received a rude message from the waiter/owner about my Unilocal.Which if you leave anything but a positive review, expect that. Read below for his comment and my comments.** Message: Hello! To answer one of your points:(i was your waiter) [you’ll see above I actually commented on good of a waiter he was.] — it is a crêpe with strawberry and chocolate, not the other way around. (Quite petty, don’t you think? To message a Unilocaler since I reversed the two. Nevertheless it had both [even though it contained a strawberry shortage].) — the chocolate was dark chocolate, and what comes back often is that it is not sweet enough. (MY opinion/review, not everyone else’s.) — the ” salmon crêpe ” as you said, how is it possible to not have it fresh? Smoked salmon and avocado and shrimp. If it wasn’t fresh, your friend will already have food poisoning, and avocado will be dark. (Friend’s opinion as stated above) — food prep: it should be faster? How do you want it to be faster if you want it fresh? This is not a fast-food. (Restaurants can be fast with service ESPECIALLY if no one is in there. It’s not like they’re making a complicated dish). — since when is there never anyone inside? Opened for two years, and we are not really empty, and not really looking to close anytime soon but thanks for wishing the worse. (Every time I’ve passed [many times] no one has been in there. Also my opinion, not harsh wishes, as stated above) I always say: why didn’t you say anything while you were there? (What is there to say? You have bad food? Use better ingredients? This happens in life. Not every restaurant is good. Some people may love/like this place but I don’t and again, my review.) My message back: Christophe, Nevertheless the crêpe had both. It doesn’t matter what order it is in. To correct me on that is quite petty, don’t you think? I’m sure people say it’s not sweet enough, but that was MY review and MY opinion. Also if you read correctly, I said what my friend said. Whenever I’ve passed I’ve never seen anyone in there, again MY review. No one said it was fast food, just have to share with fellow Unilocalers all aspects. If this is an issue, talk to your chef(s). The worst was not wished, I stated my thoughts and as I have to keep repeating this is MY review. As a business owner you should be able to take criticism and respond in a mature way or don’t respond at all. Your message has not and will not change my opinion of your restaurant. However I have edited my review accordingly from the lovely message you sent me. Cheers, Juliette After this I received an apology, however I will not be changing my review.

This place is a must for any gluten free(and non gluten free) crêpe enthusiasts. The sincere French atmosphere is the icing on the cake. I’ll be coming back frequently.

I never knew this spot existed until my friend suggested it while scouring the east village looking for someplace to eat. It’s the tiniest spot in the corner of a theater/bar, so it’s easy to miss. At first we were thinking about skipping because there was seemingly nowhere to sit(it looks like a grab and go kind of place with a pretty limited menu of dishes to choose from), but the very nice guy making the crepes said we could grab a table inside the neighboring bar, which we did. Yes, there were lots of people squeezing past our table, which kind of poked out into the walkway… it’s really tight and cramped when patrons are at the bar and people are coming and going to the show inside… but my companions were very happy with their gluten free buckwheat crepes(apparently the way crepes are supposed to be). I look forward to coming back.

Wow, just wow. I love this joint. It’s super cute inside because of the very light and airy décor. The spot feels like a contemporary French café, because it is. It’s just not in France. The buckwheat crepes and gluten free ingredients of the filling make it super easy to eat gluten free. There was a neighborhood vibe to the spot. Pro tip: The dessert crepes are not buckwheat. But, he’ll make them gluten free for you.

Everything was bad but not in an offensive way. It was bad in the way the a child tries to do something and fails. The first thing they must fix is the furniture. The table height does not match up with seating height. I felt way too tall for my table because of that. I was planning to stay a while with a book but couldn’t because I was uncomfortable. Also, it is too cramped and not in a charming way. I was the only customer there and it was tight. I ordered an iced latte that was served in a hot coffee mug and with brown sugar on the side. Can I please have an iced drink in a glass with regular sugar? Finally, both the menu and the food need improvement. Menu has too few options and so little variety. My crêpe was banana and dark chocolate. There was way too much chocolate(and I LOVE chocolate). I want this place to improve and be a charming little spot in the neighborhood. Please if you read this, take my suggestions and at least fix the seating.

I have been passing by this place everyday and I finaly got to go and try. The space is pretty, feel like a little piece of France. The music is a French radio station and I think it’s a great idea. It is also very clean. The food: I was very sceptical. I am French and love galette. It has a pleasant surprise. I actually discovered they import bunch of product from France, which explain why the flour was so tasty. I don’t think you can find that flour here in the US. I had Mr seguin galette: goat Cheese, Gruyère, chicken, walnuts and honey. This crêperie make you feel like you are in montparnasse in Paris, which is where you can find the best crêperie. Price was more than reasonable. My advice: make a reservation during the weekend, brunch is packed. This little gem has already been featured in press apparently but I’m afraid soon it will be impossible to get in. 5 stars !

Such a cute place! The decorations are classy and perfect. I had brunch here with a friend and we had a blast. Our waiter was cute and the crepes were great!

Always an amazing meal. We had savory crepes, henri IV and walnut, goat cheese and honey. Spicy and scrumptious respectively. Worth an out of the way trip! So good that we got a sweet crêpe each. Chocolate and pears, wow. Staff super friendly.

I wanted to like this place, but I was instead disappointed. They are trying, but everything from the décor, to the furniture, to the food just doesn’t work. And I normally love creperies and anything French. The restaurant looks very cute from the outside, but as soon as we entered we realized the furniture is practically miniature-sized. There were two other groups inside, and we still felt cramped. My husband and I ordered two different types of crepes(mine more traditional than his), neither one particularly enjoyable. Both came out on extremely narrow, rectangular plates which were difficult to eat from. I also ordered a glass of cider, which came in a white Japanese-style cup with no handle. Just seemed like a strange choice, and emblematic of the rest of the experience. All in all, the food was just not very good and I was physically uncomfortable in the space. A real letdown. Edited to add: I see the owner replied to correct my comment about the cider cup. I stand corrected; however this was far from my main complaint about this restaurant. Will not be coming here again.

Ok, I hate to make a down grade but constructive feedback is useful, right? Now that I’ve been to this neighborhood spot many times, I’ve noticed that my crepes always come out very quickly and lukewarm which tells me there must be a pre-made stack in the back. I want a fresh, hot off the griddle crêpe! Also, the hot chocolate came out lukewarm and was not very sweet or chocolate-y despite adding 4 spoonfuls of raw sugar. Service is still always very welcoming but let’s work on the FOODTEMP please!

A small crêpe shop that offers a nice brunch alternative to some of the other mobbed locations in the village. Quiet spot with a neighborhood vibe and friendly service. Crepes came out quickly and were all tasty. I’d especially recommend the Saint Raphael with chorizo and potatoes for a more filling option. Good cappuccino as well. Will definitely be back!

Delice & Sarrasin is an elegant, little hole in the wall restaurant. On a Sunday evening, Delice, which only has about 8 tables, was nice and quiet. Over the course of our dinner, 3 tables were occupied at most. French crepes are served flat on a plate and you eat them with fork and knife(fancy, yes) on contrary to Japanese crepes that are cone-shaped and hand held. French crepes are not very photogenic in nature, but they are delicately tasty. It’s recommended to have a savory crêpe per person and share a sweet crêpe as dessert to get a good sample of their savory versus sweet choices. «Mr. Petrossian» crêpe had smoked salmon, purée, coriander(cilantro) which one can barely taste, topped with a scoop of avocado for you to spread on the crêpe, and one grilled shrimp placed awkward atop. It’s hard for these ingredients to go south, however, on the flip side, this crêpe is rather generic. «Des Indies» was most interesting; it had peppers, chicken, curry, yogurt, onions, spices, and tomato sauce. Slightly more filling than the Mr. Petrossian and definitely more exotic and memorable. Skipping right over the salad(who would come here for salad anyway?) to a short list of tempting, sweet crepes. We decided on the«La Nanane» made with roasted pear, melted dark chocolate, almonds, and whipped Cream atop, and it was just the right way to finish the meal.

They accept the Dollop App, code PXWRXP The crepes here must be spectacular, because the rating for this place is so out of line with the quality of their pastries.* The crêpe macaron($ 3.27) was not only small, but slow to emerge and really quite odd, and in no way reminiscent of a macaron. The almond croissant was fortunately free with the Unilocal checkin special, because it was easily the worst I’ve had(yes, including those awful industrially-produced ones) — dense with no crunch and flavor, with almost zero almond paste. Won’t be returning to redeem their 10% off email, which is sent twice, nor to use /eat24 codes. FWIW they had a 6±month soft opening before their recent NYT and ToNY press. *The staffer who helped with my takeout order was very friendly.

Delicious and adorable little French restaurant. Had the gravlax/avocado savory crêpe and it was fantastic. Gravlax was delicious, and the avocado was absolutely fantastic. It was so well flavored. The buckwheat crêpe part was amazing as well. Lovely texture. Tried the Madeleines as well and they were all right. Not as moist and chewy as I would have liked.

Really cute little creperie in West Village. Very French — the tables, the owners/staff, and the menu and crêpe styles. I was pretty hungry, so I went with the Henry IV… chicken, potatoes, chorizo, onions, and egg. I actually don’t care for their special buckwheat crêpe, but I trust they’re more authentic than whatever I’m used to. I would come back for brunch and try something else.

I have lived in Manhattan for close to 20 years, tried ever type of food. While I admit I am not an expert in the French Creperie, I happened upon this restaurant walking by. Outside of Paris and Provence where I have had amazing crepes, this is not just authentic, it is a real French Creperie, from the imported flour to the freshest ingredients. Lunch, brunch, dinner, snack… skip the typical, expected West Village over priced restaurants. Wave bye bye to the Waverley Inn, Good is just Good, and bid adieu to Niu… This place rocks…

I am brought back to the days I walked along the Seine, basking in the Parisian sun, leisurely eating a delicious pastry, wondering«why is the food so dreamy in this city?!» Authentic crepes both savoury and sweet is found in this intimate shop. Much like the creperies in France, the savoury crepes are made with buckwheat flour and the sweet with traditional white flour. You really can’t go wrong with any of the crepes. Order what entices you! Tip: Check in with the Unilocal app and get a 2 for 1 pastry deal.

The establishment is cute, feels like a simple modern crêpe café, a lot of white accents. Nice(the English word) French music playing in the background gives the setting a complete Francé feel. Lots of light from the windows. Upon entering I noticed a smell, I thought it was fennel, which I dig. As we sat for a while the smell remained as strong as ever. I never inquired as to what the smell was but I think it may have been the cool looking white tables tops, or a fresh coat of paint somewhere. Hopefully it goes away as it was a bit overwhelming, until our yummy food came around and masked the odor. The waiter was very nice and attentive(We [two of us] were the only ones in the creperie). Water was filled with a decent frequency, lol, I guess this is a measuring stick of how attentive service is, lol. We ordered the Des Indes(my choice) and Mr. Seguin(my lady’s choice) savory crepes. Des Indes consists of Peppers, Chicken breast, Curry, Yogurts, Onion, Spices, Tomato sauce. Mr. Seguin consists of Goat cheese(no thanks, lol), Chicken, Mozzarella cheese, Nuts, and Honey. We ordered them without any modifications. The Des Indes flavor was a bit too strong, the term Curry can be varied in flavor which I’m fine with but the flavor was overwhelming and sharp. There is mention of ‘yogurts’, I’d prefer something like Paneer cheese slices scattered inside, this may help. The Mr. Seguin while it has Goat Cheese, I prefer the mix of what was going on in this crêpe. The honey added a nice touch of sweetness along with the savory. I’d go with a ricotta cheese over the Goat cheese, or no secondary cheese and solo mozzarella. We even tried combining the two crepes in one bite to see how that was, it helps, but the Curry flavor on the Des Indes still over powered the experience. If you check on Unilocal you get a free pastry. We got two :) went with an Almond Croissant, and a Chocolate Croissant. I am not a connoisseur of croissants(say that 17 times backwards on one foot with your eyes closed, yeah, not easy!) these were crunchy and tasty. The waiter asked us about the Almond croissant as it had been altered to include less almond paste, it had the right amount, very enjoyable. I’d like to see a combo Chocolate Almond croissant in the future, something I enjoy from La Maison Du Macaron. As for the value of the 2 crepes, I’d say for uniqueness I can understand the $ 15/crêpe price but I would include a salad and there is no mention of free-range, organic anything, makes me wonder. Merci Rating 3.5−3.75 stars

Yum! Went here for some sweet crepes. I liked the simple clean atmosphere but they should consider some acoustical finishes because it was quite hard to speak with my boyfriend while there was only one table of customers talking. I can imagine the place getting very loud when it’s full. We had the crêpe with dark chocolate with banana and it was a decent portion and very sweet and tasty. I also had the iced latte, it was also very good. Will definitely go back when i’m around the area.

Sunday lunch Seamless delivery De Colllioure $ 15 — a piece of nice sized anchovy was on the top of the crêpe and it made easy to differentiate with my husband’s choice, no anchovy for him. One bite, I said«YES!». A punch of full flavors hit my palate and gave me a big smile. I checked what’s in the crêpe. There should had been an egg in it but I couldn’t taste it. Maybe the egg wasn’t a fried egg, sunny side up, but scrambled(?). I wanted to experience with the crêpe with creamy yolk running so I must try again. Saint Raphael $ 15 — my hubby enjoyed this crêpe. He liked chorizo, cheese and potato, with a egg combo. It was a good brunch meal for him. It maybe more enjoyable than delivery. The crêpe was fresh but had gotten too moistened by the time it came, but those crepes were really tasty. I am so Japanese that I want to have different flavors at one meal. I am going to this creperie with my friend next time and definitely share our crepes. All our crepes that we had were made with buckwheat flour but I miss the original way, with flour. I also found this video that was attached to their site. French lady working in the kitchen was adorable.
