Dash Events

As a professional DJ myself when I need a DJ for an event I’m producing I call Nick D and Dash first. Nick is a talented professional behind the turntables and a first class gentleman all around. I have no doubt he can rock any crowd! Just as important I appreciate that he shows up early, leaves late and isn’t someone I have to think/​worry about at the event. My only complaint is that I’m bummed he get’s booked up when I need him :)

My partner and I had the pleasure of working with Nick Dean for our wedding in DC. We searched far and wide for a DJ — someone who would set the mood, deliver a great dance party and keep our guests on the dance floor. Nick delivered in a big way. He brings incredible range and an insane knowledge of music. He knows how to read a room and drive the energy of a party. Beyond his style and skill as a DJ, he is a true professional. I’m a wedding planner, and I worked with Nick on a wedding recently. He was an absolute professional. He arrived to the reception early, had everything set up, and played fantastic music from the beginning of cocktail hour until the end of the night. He really knows how to get a crowd up and dancing. He plays the best music — nothing cheesy, and really listens to the couple to see what kind of music they’re interested in hearing. I would recommend Nick and Dash Events many times over. He’s just the best!

As a former nightclub owner and lover of music (and dancing) picking a DJ for my own personal parties is top priority. Not only do they set the mood, the perfect DJ can make (or break) the party.
Nick D and Dash Events are professionals. Meaning, you aren’t going to get a cheesy wedding DJ that plays your run of the mill set list. Nick is a walking encyclopedia of great music (you can check him out on Soundcloud or their website) who has played top clubs and events. We’ve hired him twice and both times he literally kept ALL the guests (mixed professionals /​designers ages 25 – 55) on the dance floor until early morning. I can’t say enough good things about my experience, you will not have to worry about your guests having a good time, I’m certain of that!
