THIS IS AN UPDATE: Management, Kevin, really is concerned with the customers. I spoke to him about an issue I had, and he rectified it immediately. I love the Hennessy Pina Colada!

Hadn’t been here in years. thought it might be a good idea for four family members to meet up. This location has been here for years. Started with a few appetizers, one was of Chickens wings,.dry.sauce on the side. Waiter brought us 3 different kind of sauces from sweet to.hot.also the firecracker shrimp app. both apps decent. Drinks where 10oz or 20oz. for 20oz free refill. I ordered ribs. they came out a little too wet and the ribs themselves where cold. Try to find your drink refill, not easy. Other orders where pineapple shrimp arrived… even tho broiled shrimp where asked for. where we wanted nothing else on the shrimp …&.Chili.and Burgers. .overall.alot of food. nice touch on the mini cupcakes for dessert. .
The service was moderate and the fact they charged our credit card for someone elses bill. .and no apology. .and that bill was in the $ 200.range.2x.&.twice ours.also.the tip auto added to check, Maybe that’s why service is lacking because they going to get paid no matter what. I remember this place being the bomb and better.

After a hard work day or even harder night of happy hour festivities a meal at Dallas BBQ will definitely satisfy your hunger and bring you back to life.
Every thing on the menu is great and the atmosphere is very welcoming and fun to be in. It’s not a Michelin starred place and service is a bit slow but the food is piled high and cheap and the drinks are strong. A perfect place for large parties or no frills lunches.
My go to order is the chicken and ribs combo which is finger lickin good. So leave the dinner jacket at home and come out and relax and enjoy some tasty Texas BBQ.

How would you rate a place you might go back to out of convenience? I got the bbq pork sandwich. The bun was great and the fries were great. The meat seamed like it was a few days old air drying in the kitchen. The sauce was good but it needed a lot more to get the whole sandwich down. The roast chicken my wife got was good. I’ve heard the wings are good here. I hate to give it a 3 star because there are only a small handful of restaurants that know how to smoke meat and do it consistently.

Great BBQ in NY, not a lot of ambiance at this location, but the food was good. I came for the drink specials. Our server (Luis.?) was very friendly and made the experience that much better.

Service: Hostess pointed to our table and just told us to sit… efficient? sure. courteous? not so much
My mother ordered a baked potato as a side for her pulled pork sandwich, but they brought out fries. I asked for it to be replaced and the baked potato that came out was cold and not cooked through.
Thankfully, the food was good. I enjoyed my ginormous brisket sandwich (the brisket was great, nice and tender), and my sister said she liked her BBQ chicken sandwich as well.
I was a little weirded out by the included tip– I read past reviews, I understand now that they do that after a certain point in the night, but when I received the check last night, I thought it was strange since we were only a party of three.

Awesome chicken honey wings almost the size of turkey wings! One order can certainly feed 2… Chicken dinners are really good with sides.
Prices as always have been more than reasonable for all the years I’ve been going there.

After having frequently passed by Dallas BBQ on the UES were pleasantly surprised when we finally decided to dine in.
We ordered the Texas Crispy Hot Wings and a Cheeseburger.
We didn’t love the cheeseburger as it was very ordinary and the chips it came with were overcooked but we did enjoy the wings as they were very meaty, tasty and were only $ 15 for a large and well-​presented meal.
The service was nothing extraordinary though food was served quickly and water was refilled in a timely fashion.
It is quite likely we will be back for the wings but this restaurant would be greatly improved with an update of its décor and noise-​reducing baffles.

Amazing staff. Food was far better than the other bbqs. Manager Kevin was amazing and so was our waitress Kelsey.

The giant frozen drinks are the only reason for coming here. The BBQ is bland, they have one sauce on the table, the staff, though friendly, are basically absent, and you have no good options for sides. It’s fries or slaw and that’s it. The brisket was tiny and fatty, the pulled pork was dry, and the sauce was thin and runny. Perhaps it’s because I’m Southern and know good bbq, but this place just didn’t do it for me. My «platter» was two small portions of dry meat and half a plate of greasy fries. If you are looking for something even remotely close to actual Texas bbq, you will be sorely disappointed, as I was.
Oh and it happens to be a great place for huge families. And their screaming infants and toddlers. Seriously, not a good place for a quiet meal. A child actually started coughing today and the woman first started screaming that he was choking, then when people came over to assist him, she screamed «Get the f*ck away from my kid!» I’m just glad I was inebriated most of my visit.

First let me start off by saying that my friends and I visit this location at least once a week because of its proximity to work.
Tonight was the worst experience ever. Mid-​meal we spotted two mice scurrying around in our section. We pointed this out to our waiter who proceeded to get the manager … Mr. Kevin Banks approached us and asked what happened and also asked us if we’d like to switch our table! His attitude and sarcasm in this situation was completely unacceptable. I understand that this isn’t a 5-​star restaurant but the paying customers should not have to be subjected to such conditions. We were pointing out a serious matter that could potentially shut this place down not skip out on a bill.
Avoid this place and their poor customer service as much as possible!

Fair to say you get what you pay for. The food is by no means bad, but the establishment has been poorly run for over 20 years to the point where I find it hard to believe this location in particular is still open.
You will get reasonably enjoyable food at a good price, but the service is usually terrible — both dine in and delivery. A delivery order will take an hour if you’re lucky, and your food will most likely be cold.
If you’re looking for barbecue food, splurge the extra cash and go to Dino BBQ. It’s worth the travel and extra cash.

I’ll never come here again. The potential for good flavor is wrapped around batter and fried. l, if it wasn’t I think u might be chomping down on food only meant for sale as gourmet pet food. #why #did #I #come #here.
On a positive note, they offer free drink samples, the reason that I gave one star.
Update: stomach hurt the next day. Pretty certain it was the steak.

There are few eateries in NYC where you can walk away from a sit-​down experience feeling stuffed and not poor. This is one of them!
It’s not gourmet fine dining, but it is good! Service is hospitable and they give out free cup cakes! (At least they did when I was there.)
I recommend sticky wings. Also, the half order is very large. The chicken sandwich was also tasty. Fries are very good! I heard the big drinks weren’t super strong, but that was from a person in my large group. (They were fantastic about seating a table of 9.)
Anyway, go have a reasonably priced BBQ experience and enjoy yourself.

There was a time where Dallas BBQ seemed to be one of the better chains out there, but the past few times I’ve gone there have been underwhelming.
If there’s one thing that always strikes me when I go here it’s that Dallas BBQ’s always have a surprisingly large amount of seating. I went here on a Thursday night and the restaurant was maybe only half full, probably due it being located in the UES where it may not be a draw for random people as let’s say the one in Times Square. Or maybe it just wasn’t a popular dining choice even during what should be its peak time of day.
Our server was nice and attentive early on in the evening — perhaps a bit too attentive. She was on her game to order drinks and to push their Superman punch, even going as far as to offer samples of it to one couple at our table who ended up not ordering any alcoholic beverages anyway. As the evening progressed though she started to falter. When the food arrived one member of our party never got his. At first we thought it would continue coming out in spurts and that someone was lagging behind, but after 5 – 10 minutes it never came. The food was given to us by busboys, and the waitress never checked up on us to make sure everything was all right or that we all received our orders, so we had to flag her down to alert her of this. She quickly remedied it, but then later on she was MIA when we needed beverage refills.
And then there’s the actual food. I’m usually satisfied after eating a meal, but that night I was disappointed instead. I had the sirloin steak that came with a salad and an obscene amount of crispy onions. I didn’t enjoy any of those three items. The one thing I did like was the frozen margarita, which I guess makes sense considering how the waitress was with us.
At the end of the day I did not have a pleasant dining experience at Dallas BBQ. I’m never the one to suggest going there, but will now make an active effort to steer away others when they mention it.

I absolutely love BBQs… I highly recommend the Texas Crispy Wings and the Hennessey Wings and when it comes to their frozen drinks the Pineapple Crush with Coconut Ciroc and their new drink the Superman are my favorite. Trust me you won’t be disappointed!
Just a note, their house liquors will give you a headache! You’ve been warned!
