Cheese Louise who knew a barber located in a subway station could be so good. I’m like Uncle Jesse with my hair – well almost, i don’t give pep talks to it( ), but that’s primarily because I do not have a lick of pep because I’m dead on the inside. On the outside however, my hair now looks frickin great and conceals 100% of my inner turmoil. Maybe that should be their slogan: Cutting Den: We’ll conceal 100% of your emotional baggage. A sweet little lady cut my hair(I say little because she asked me to slouch in the chair because at 5’9 I was too tall). 1) that made me feel tall for the first time ever so kudos and 2) she said I had nice hair. I’m a sucker for a genuine compliment. I didn’t even look at the price because I was like, it’s in a subway station, how much could it cost – 16 $ for a bad ass scissor cut. Well scissor me timbers that’s awesome. I would’ve probably been cool paying twice that. I’m not sure why there wasn’t a «Full House» in this barber shop ;) Is it great? You got it, DUDE! In the immortal words of Stephanie Tanner, «I’m addicted to crystal meth.»

Highly recommend this place. The guy who cut my hair, «Rocky» has been working there for over 50 years and knows his stuff. Good old fashioned haircut, for a competitive price, and can do modern cuts. Check this place out!

It’s a small salon in the St. George Hotel, but that allows you to get to know all of the people who work there. All of the workers are fairly aged(like a fine wine lol,) but they are really good at what they do. It’s a nice environment, but pretty pricy. I’ve been coming here for about five years and I always get a deep conditioner or a perm by the head beautician. Conditioner= $ 50 Perm w/student discount= $ 80ish(I think its $ 74 but I always give $ 80 so don’t quote me on it)
