Cubo

Great selection and friendly staff! I went in today to look at their Minecraft collection for a gift. The staff were so friendly and helpful I was pleasantly surprised!
While their selection may not be as big as Toy Tokyo or Forbidden Planet their service, cleanliness, and prices are by far the best out of the three. I will definitely be stopping by again for Christmas gifts! A++

Oh yes! I went there with 5 stars! I would go to 10 if it allowed.
If you are into blind boxes, art figures, 3D printing, and friendly people… this is the place for you! Not as large as other stores who might carry the same products, but the cleanliness and friendly, upbeat attitude of Victor and Julie (I’m hoping that’s her name… if not don’t kill me next time I come in lol).
My girlfriend and I have been going here on and off for a few months and they have been friendly and funny from the start. Toy Tokyo has a larger selection and much closer to my apartment (3^rd between 1^st and 2^nd), but would gladly walk to 12^th street just to enjoy the conversations with Victor and Julie. It’s almost as if you don’t exist in Toy Tokyo because no one says a thing to you when you walk in.
I hadn’t been by Cubo in a month or two and walking in yesterday was like seeing old friends. It was nice to chit chat about the Chaos Bunnies! I will return for some more Chaos Bunnies… Be ready, Cubo! :)
PS– I got Mr. Bunny, Monster Bunny, Hula Bunny, and Fire-​Cat Bunny :)

I had read about this toy store in the Villager, but hadn’t made it here, even though it’s only a few blocks away from where I live.
They have toys from Kidrobot and other stuff for the latency set, but the killer app? 3D printing! They’ll print your file, if you can supply it in the correct program.
3D printing might not look much now, but it’s going to be big… just imagine in the future when you’re able to order delivery and it comes through your printer! I bet that’s not that far off!
ETA – I just heard the other day about a 3D printer that Hershey’s is going to be patenting. I told you it’s not that far off!

Such a cute store. I wanted to buy everything in there. My daughter is obsessed with blind boxes and we now have some new favorites. Very friendly and super clean store. Can’t wait to go back.

Brought my kid in to pick up a little figure as a treat. The owners were very friendly and enthusiastic. Very knowledgable about the products. Nice addition to the neighborhood.
