Coffee Berry

This place was nice, had a homey diner feel and the food was pretty good. Was well worth the price and a nice environment for a brunch date. Only complaint: service was pretty slow. They were busy, which I understand, but they frequently forgot about our table and we waited about 30 minutes for our food, and then another 20 minutes after asking for our check at the end. Employees seemed a little disorganized.

This place rocks. Clean, great service, good prices, delicious food. Very much needed in the neighborhood. Smoothies are really refreshing too.

The food ranges from quite decent to truly outstanding and the service and atmosphere is wonderful. A wonderful addition to the neighborhood!

This restaurant has come right on time for me. The menu reads exactly as my doctor instructed. More veggies, fruit drinks in my diet. What we ordered to my surprise was not only tasty but still warm. My doctor recommended a change in my diet and with this menu it will be a smooth transition. Thank you!

Love this place. Poached eggs and shakushuka are so delicious. I eat there every sunday.

I love this place. The staff is very nice and they know my order. I go in every day of the week for coffee. The food is also very good.
Just one complaint (but I’m still giving it five stars because it’s the first time in weeks I’ve had a complaint). I go here specifically to have somewhere to sit and work while I’m waiting to pick up kids from school. I ordered my coffee and was heading to a table, and one of the staff members gave away the table on my way to it because two people who came in quite a few minutes after me wanted to sit. She told me that they should have it because they’re getting food. While I totally understand that their lunch may cost more than my coffee, I come in every day and spend money on coffee and sometimes lunch and I have brought at least a dozen friends with me to try Coffee Berry. I just didn’t think it was cool to swipe my table and make me wait just because my order on this one particular day was smaller than theirs. I will still be returning, but that did bum me out today.

have had brunch there twice now… amazing shakshuka with salads and dips on the side — israeli style. my friend also loved their uws sandwich and said it was her new go-​to. really good lattes as well and the owners are super friendly and seem to really care that u have a good experience.

I ordered the shakushka which was delicious and the fresh squeezed OJ was squeezed right in front of me, Amazing. The people working there were friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to go back for the crème brulee French toast. Hands down I will definitely be returning,

We had a great experience dining at this new establishment. I had the Sabich sandwich (sp?) and I think its the best sandwich I have ever had. My companion had the Shakshuka (sp?) poached eggs in tomato sauce, which I tasted, and all I can say is that I’m getting that next.
This is now my most favorite restaurant.
The owner told me that they are waiting on delivery of additional seating (I think he said benches).
Also, I should add that I stop in almost every morning for coffee and 2 eggs on a croissant, breakfast has never been better.
PS. I’ve heard only positive reviews from people who ate there.

Great new addition to the UWS kosher scene. Terrific location and ambience! When the weather warms up and the windows can be opened I can imagine it will be even nicer. The service puts all of the existing places to shame. The owner was attentive and pleasant and leaned over backwards to accommodate our requests. The food is good and reasonably priced. The huevos rancheros needed some more seasoning and the salad would’ve been better if the lettuce weren’t straight from the refrigerator (or if the sweet potatoes were warm), but I have no doubt they will work out these kinks and I will certainly be returning.
