This was so funny, here an obssessed Kenneth Starr wanted to sodomize Bill and Hilary wanted to be the Blackest a woman can be! Great singing talent here and very entertaining way to spend an hour at this large and comfortable theater on 50th st. Right after the show there’s a karaōke bar inside to finish the night off in a fun way. Go see it!

Growing up during the whole Clinton debacle, I am quite familiar with the story. It was interesting to see an «alternative ending,» if you will. Clinton The Musical gives us insight on an alternative(and preferred) ending to Clinton’s presidency, were it hocked up on glitter and marched down pride parade. The acting, singing and story were especially well laid out and I found my eyes drawn to the visually eye-popping props and set(not to mention Kenneth Starr’s dom outfit… yowza!) What really brought this musical home for me was the voice of «Hillary,» if the real Hillary can sing a fraction as good as her(Kerry Butler, as noted by prior Unilocalers — shoutout to Eva!) she has my vote because I think this country needs a strong leader that can carry a tune while performing physically exhausting acrobatics and choreography. Definitely recommended to see this ASAP. And if you’re reading this too late, then you can always reenact it in your living room.

I found this musical bawdy, humorous and well-acted. Please go see it before the show closes on June 20th. When I initially heard of this show months ago, I wanted to see it as I was raised in the 1990s and in addition to loving his contributions to this country, I always considered Clinton our first minority President. I managed to snag reasonably priced tickets for two friends and I on a Sunday night and our socks were blown right off. This play is a parody of what could have occurred during Bill’s two terms as President, since I do not know whether Hilary Rodham Clinton is a ball busting, gospel singing megalomaniac nor am I sure that Kenneth Star is an eccentric sexual deviant capable of landing splits. Note that the performances and singing voices of Mr. Star(Kevin Zak) and Mrs. Clinton(Kerry Butler), in particular, brought the house down in an already gifted cast of singers, dancers and actors. Keep in mind that save for the Clintons, almost every actor played multiple roles-Miss Lewinsky, the White House Press Corps, Eleanor Roosevelt and Special Prosecutor Kenneth Star, which was impressive since in addition to no intermission, the dancing, monologues and solos were all done at a fairly rapid pace. You do not need to be that familiar with the cultural trends of the 1990s or the salient points of Clinton’s presidency to find this show charming, witty or relatable. The friend to my left was born in 1990 and he laughed at the both the physical comedy and delivery of the players more than I did even as I remained gleeful throughout the production. Without question, this show deserves a longer run, but like most things in life, it went too quickly and I miss it already.

Hysterical ! If you’ve lived through the Clinton years you will love this satirical musical! I’ve never laughed harder at a show before. And yes I have seen The Book of Mormon”. Get the today tix app for discounted tickets. Small theater so seat location does not matter

This is a fun musical. It took a humorous and honest look at the Clinton Era in the 1990’s. All the actors did a very good job. We are big fans of Kerry Butler and have seen her in multiple productions. The gentleman who played Ken Starr stole the show. He was hilariously funny. All in all a very fun night out!
