For gel manicure and pedicure it was a total of $ 73.00. The girl did a great job but the gel polish that went on my toes turned yellow under the UV and appeared old. When I asked to come back the next day to just get another coat to cover the yellow I was told that I would be charged again. What??? There are so many nail salons in the city this one wasn’t a deal, wasn’t particularly great, and customer service was mediocre at best. Go somewhere else.

This place seemed disorganized and had poor customer service. People were coming in for appointments and it was clear that they had been forgotten about as no one was available to help them. My technician seemed constantly distracted. My girlfriend’s technician could not understand that she wanted her nails rounded and kept trimming them ever shorter and shorter until they were flattened and stubby. When we chose not to leave a tip to communicate that we did not enjoy the experience, one of the technicians followed us outside and demanded we tip.
Twenty minutes later and my girlfriend noticed that several of her nails had already begun to chip. Very disappointing.

Wouldn’t recommend. Got a massage and mani pedi. The girl was OK but she cut my big toe at one point so I gave a 15% tip. I was then told there was a 20% min tip, after tax. Didn’t want to cause a scene so I gave her the extra couple of bucks but was extremely put off /​in my mine defeats the purpose of tipping. Will not be back.

I love Classic Nail and Spa! Julie gives the best gel manicures and is so kind and sweet. Every time I call for a reservation, they do their best to accommodate me which I really appreciate. I have gotten a pedicure, regular manicure, gel manicure, and eye brow waxing here done and have been happy with all services. Prices are lower than usual at Classic Nail and Spa as compared to other spots in this neighborhood which along with the convenience and satisfaction with services, makes this a great go-​to spot on the USE.

My go-​to spot! Great service, friendly technicians, reasonable prices and clean! They always have the newest colors and give you a free mini shoulder massage when you’re done. Definitely best nail salon on the upper east side!

Going to this salon was a spur of the moment decision. We were walking by, my manicure last week didn’t come out especially good, I figured, why not?
They did a really nice job on my hands. Extra attention was paid to my cuticles, which really needed it. The salon is very clean and the staff is friendly.
My one criticism (and the reason for the 3 star review) was that the person who was doing my nails was the manager/​counterperson. Every time someone came in, she stopped what she was doing to look at the appointment book or chat with them. My manicure took twice as long as it normally would have.

I came here for the convenient location and cheap gel manicure, but you get what you pay for. None of my gel manicures lasted the full two weeks, with my last one chipping within the first 5 days.
The last time I went in for a pedicure there was a wait. After waiting 10 minutes they asked if I could come back tomorrow because they wanted to close early. (I was there an hour and a half before closing time).

No idea why this place doesn’t have more reviews, so i figured I would give it one even though I am tempted to keep this place my little secret. Got a mani pedi yesterday for $ 25 done by Leo. He did a great job and took his time including a nice foot/​leg/​hand massage. The place is very clean and the pedicure massage chairs are nice and big and comfy. Definitely one of the best mani pedi deals in the UES.

4 Stars on Unilocal means «Yay! I’m a fan» and thats exactly how I feel about this place.
Sarah, my nail technician was awesome. She listened to my requests and ACTUALLY acted on it. She was able to hold small talk and had a smile on her face for the majority of the time. She gave a very detailed mani pedi and I didn’t feel like I was being rushed out. Oh, and there was a bonus mini massage!
The staff is friendly and the establishment is clean.
I think I’ve found my Mani Pedi spot on the UES.
