Cruising for beads as I do quite often I decided to go down 37th Street heading to one store and stumbled onto City Beads. What a gem and vast departure from the scene on Sixth Avenue. The collection of is vast well organized and includes crystrals, Czech beads, wood, stone in every imaginable size and shape. The quality is much better than you can find on Sixth — essential if you are doing more complicated weaving. The staff is friendly and you can walk about without feeling guarded. Love that most beads come in small strands so no need for bagging and the prices are competitive with most of the big online outlets.
