My first experience at the the store was not the best. Let me paint the picture I’m a African American male and I came to buy a pair of loafers. I was there for at least 30 minutes. I ended up buying a nice suede loafer for 1200 dollars as I was leaving the store the doors was lock for me not to leave … I started to catch on seeing as I was the only person in the store. The servers thought that I was going to steal and run out the store cause I wanted to check on my car from getting tickets or towed… I felt horrible spending that type of money there but I wouldn’t recommend that place to no one. Racial profiling … I left the store losing the great feeling of buying my first pair of louboutins…

I’ll begin by saying I love the pair of boots I bought and love the brand… but NOT the customer service at this store. My story starts in Las Vegas, as I was browsing through 2 Louboutin stores there. I found a wonderful pair of boots, but they didn’t have the color I wanted or my size. I was referred to the store on Robertson in West Hollywood, since I live near it. I went into that store and both of the guys were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they did not have my size in the boot I wanted either. The only store that had my size was this one. I was given a card with the contact information of the Washington St. store. I emailed the store and was sent the order form to complete and return, which I did. Arrangements and payment were set and the boots were being sent to me. I received a message on Thursday afternoon from UPS that my boots would be delivered Friday before 3pm. Knowing a signature was needed and I would not be home when the delivery would take place, I called UPS to hold the package at their distribution center. Things were going well up to this point. UPS stated they could not hold the package for me to pick up because the shipper(this store) had restrictions place on it. They requested I call the store to remove the restriction so they could hold it and I would be able to pick up the package after work on Friday. Simple, right? It was 6:55pm EST, the store closed at 7pm, so I hung up immediately with UPS and called the store. The salesperson I had been emailing and dealing with answered the phone, so I explained to her the situation and requested she call UPS to remove the restriction. She told me that she could not do that… What??? She told me UPS must attempt at least one delivery and then I would be able to go and pick the package up. I explained to her that I had just gotten off of the phone with UPS and that was not the case; a simple phone call from the store would allow them to hold the package for me to pick up Friday evening and they would not have to attempt a delivery since I was requesting to pick it up. I was placed on hold, thinking she was calling UPS. WRONG! I was given to another person at the store who told me exactly what she told me. Apparently he is the«shipping manager.» He quoted«UPS policy and procedures» to me, which I have confirmed by 3 different UPS employees that he is incorrect. So basically, the store refused to make a phone call to UPS, making it more difficult for me to receive my package, and causing unnecessary work to the UPS drivers by forcing them to deliver a package that everyone knows could not be delivered. I spent numerous hours on the phone and online with UPS for the past 2 days in attempts to get my boots. All of this could have been avoided if the arrogant shipping manager would have listened to me as I tried to explain to him how to easily get me my boots. Unfortunately he thinks he knows more than everyone and would not listen. News flash — UPS knows their policies and procedures better than the employees at this Louboutin store!!! For a store that sells such high-quality shoes, the customer service is HORRIBLE!!!

The people who work in this store are extremely rude. I live in Los Angeles and have spent over 7k on shoes this year alone and have a very good relationship with the Robertson store. So let me start off by saying I love the brand 100%. However,(To the people working here… you work retail and will never earn more than 100k a year so learn your place) you are hear to serve me. Nott sit on your ass and think your better than everyone who walks in the door. Just because you do not have my size or bring me shoes that I end up not liking when I try them on, does not give you the right to be rude. I guess it explains why these people work retail, but someone needs to educate you on customer service.

I had an amazing experience at the Christian Louboutin men’s store! The employees were very helpful. I bought a pair of the Louis Flat Python. The guy who helped me even took pictures for me for instagram! This is a must go to place when in Manhattan! Very friendly, very cool interior design! Thank you for all the help!

Well, either they paid some attention to my review, or CL himself came in and kicked some ass: I was back there in November 2012 to buy shoes as a gift. The store was clean, the previously ridiculous security was limited to one door bouncer, and the salesperson(a woman) was great looking, well-dressed and very helpful. Still a bit too cool for school, but given their current positioning, that pretty much suits the product.

I was freaking exciting and screamed like a baby when I know they were opening the second Men’s store right here in New York. I know, shoe-obsessed, what can I do? Went there three times. First they didn’t have anything that I like, the infamous spiky shoes sold out within a blink of your eyes. Second times, nada for me, my friend got a pair. Third time, I got plenty of options and I bought pair home with me. Nice shoes indeed, but the service is okay. Given the fact that I’m paying ~$ 1500 for a pair of shoes, I’d expect a better service. Now please be reminded that I’m not entitled. I know retail jobs are hard, SAs are people too and NYC shoppers are crazy. I would always ask nicely and be as friendly as possible. But, the SAs seemed bored. Like so bored they could start counting the tiles on the floor instead of helping their customers. Or maybe the ceiling, think they have carpets installed. Hmmm.
