Chris Lipman – Rutenberg Realty

I met Chris Lipman by chance when I was just beginning to glance through the Manhattan real estate ads and Chris was advertising an apartment for sale on the Upper West Side. I called him to find out the details, but told him that I wasn’t ready to buy yet — our house wasn’t even on the market at that time — and I just wanted to familiarize myself with the market. Chris was so pleasant on the phone and so willing to work with me that we made an appointment to look at some apartments. This was over two years ago in the beginning of 2012. Chris patiently took me out looking at apartments every month or so until we both had a good idea of what my husband and I were looking for. We put our house on the market and found a buyer for it earlier this year (2014). And at the same time Chris found what turned out to be our next home. I remember the day he showed me the listing — it was in Murray Hill, a different neighborhood than we were looking at that day and I was tired and didn’t pay much attention to it. But Chris insisted that my husband and I would love it (wrap around terrace with beautiful views) so we finally went to see it. He was right and we closed on our purchase last month!
