So two weeks ago I ordered a salad from here. after calling multiple times I was told my order was«on the way» each time to find out that it truly wasn’t. I understand that lunch hour is quite busy but that’s no reason to keep somebody waiting for 2 hours for a salad. It was not a complicated order at all. after leaving a negative review I was contacted by their support team. They apologized and offered free vouchers which was very nice. I told them where to send them and thanked them for reaching out. LIES! They never responded to my email it’s been almost a week since I responded to the first message they sent me. Great location. It’s Chopt and I always feel weird giving chains more than 3 stars. However, this spot deserves an extra star for it’s efficiency. I only come here during lunch rush, there are usually 30+ people in line and I’m out of here on average of about 10−15min. Management has there process down to an operational science! Also, the servers, as with most Chopt’s, don’t skimp on ingredients, are fast, and clean.

Food’s great. Too bad it takes 2 hours to get to you. This has been consistent across multiple chop’t’s. Their delivery is legit awful.

Definitely one of the top salad places in the city. Very fresh ingredients and they carry a good variety of lettuce and salad add ins. The kale caesar is my go to!

Good food, $$ but its too good. I like it so much. Extend variety of salad, toppings and dressing. Serve very fast. The room are too comfortable and the ambience are perfect.

Salads here are pretty basic. You go through an assembly line of choosing what type of greens you want, your proteins, and whatever toppings you want to add in. Nothing too special about this salad chain. The ingredients are always fresh and portions are huge(can be two meals worth), so that’s always a big plus. I must say, their created salads are pretty good. They had a international salad theme when I went and decided to try the Asian salad. It was actually a really good salad mixture… even spicy! Like I said, there’s nothing too special about this place that really stands out among all of the other salad and on-the-go food places. They have reasonable prices for their gigantic portions. I’m just glad the line moves fairly quickly, especially during lunch rush hour.

Take a walk to the 17th St. location… Every time I go here it: 1. Takes so much longer than 17th St.(Particularly if you get stuck on the second station, prepare to wait 10 minutes for a chopper — no exaggeration!) 2. They skimp on the amount of lettuce so by the time everything is «chop’t», it fills half the container”. UPDATE11⁄9 — I’d like to note that they reached out about my concerns and in rectify my skimpy salads, which is much appreciated! In light, I’m adding a star… UPDATE11⁄18 — I eat at Chop’t nearly every work day, so ‘ve kept going to this location given above update and their kind response, but I stand by my first review and I’m gonna walk the extra blocks to 17th St. location. This location keeps leaving me disappointed.

Your basic salad place, not bad but I still think it’s crazy to pay over $ 10 for salad. They are usually creative with different specialty salads and the menu is pretty large, but then again, it’s just salad. One bonus, during the lunch rush they are very efficient so even if the line looks long don’t let that dissuade you.

Had the kale Caesar salad with chicken. It was cool seeing them chop up the salad. The salad was decent. Typical Caesar salad. Good but not worth the price even though they give a lot.

Walked over their today after fighting my urge to eat at the shake shack Madison park burger stand, wanted to get something more healthy. Had a decent meal at chopt and first time experience, salad was fresh, presentation was theatrical, workers users clean instruments and changed gloves as needed and final salad was tasty(falafel Cobb). The areas for improvement is food topping layout and access by cook line. They are designed more for show not fast pace dining, so they have to scoop from bins that are to small and drag ingredients across so many others that it causes quite a mess. The prep while fast is sloppy and chunks of yummy feta cheese or some limited pieces of falafel are lost to the floor due to overzealous chopping and scooping-to-bowl. Overall will go back and hoping over time to see the process refined a bit.

Fast service. Delicious salads. Affordable prices. You can download their app and pay with it. It also allows you to get $ 10 credit for every $ 100 spent. Great quick lunch for work days. Their salads are creative, delicious and fulfilling. Definitely not boring salads. They usually have reggae music on which is great because it sets the mood as relaxing and kind of «chilling» while you wait in line or eat(if you decide to stay).

A little overpriced. Very fresh ingredients with many options and they let you do all sorts of substitutions and additions and in the end you have a very personalized salad. I just wished that they chopped up the leaves before they throw everything in it especially since I like to add quinoa which basically is lost after they take it out chop it up and put it back in the bowl. I love eating salads and have tried several places and this place is super close to the yoga studio I go to so its convenient but I definitely have had better for a better price as well.(I paid almost $ 13 for a basic salad on the menu but I just added some quinoa) Although the customer service here is excellent and its a pretty quick line as well, very efficient.

It’s taken me much longer than it usually does, but I’ve come to terms with the fact that I don’t really like you, Chop’t. I come in often enough, but that’s mostly because my co-workers are all about you(or at least being ‘healthy’), and I’m not strong enough to say no. I’m weak. It’s not that you’re BAD, it’s just that you’re not very good. Without fail, I will pay more than I think I should* for a salad that will be mediocre at best. And sometimes the ingredients are actually unfresh, which is really the only thing that can make a salad bad. Also, your«bread» is a joke. That is not bread. That is a depressing, limp tortilla. But I continue to get it, because when someone asks, «Do you want free bread?» The answer should always be yes. And the fact that it is actually no makes me sad. ____________ *More than I would at a local deli that performs exactly the same function. This is NYC. We are lucky to have these places. If I was in Cincinnati, I’m sure I’d be stoked to have a Chop’t across the street.

In this era of salad worship, Chop’t is worthy of much praise. Unlike the other gourmet, watch-your-salad-tossed-before-your-eyes joints, Chop’t uses a fancy rolling blade to actually chop up your ingredients, so you don’t have to make a mess of your face, cramming humongous pieces of spinach & kale in your mouth. Nope. Eveyrthing is perfectly… you know… chopped. They’ve got a bunch of pre-designed salads you can customize, all around $ 8 – 10(a deal compared to SF salad spots!). I got the Cobb, with kale instead of romaine and no bacon. No problem — they seem accustomed to substitutions and picky preferences. And here’s something cool: you order anything with avocado and they’ll give you an entire HALF avocado. I’ve never seen such generous avo portions, even in California, land of abundant avocado. Plenty of seating, even for a group, since most folks take their food to-go. The handy pod-shaped containers are ideal for transporting to/from the office. Good stuff!

One of the better locations in the City and setup with a good traffic model. The line is typically out the door but it definitely moves fast and doesn’t really bottle-neck. Their food is decent and they make a good salad, but sadly their recent menu redesign and crazy price increases is definitely making it less of an option. Luckily for me, my go-to salad remained on the newly trimmed menu, but at a hefty up-charge. All in all, it’s good for a healthy lunch in a pinch, but you’ll definitely pay through the nose for it.

Cheapening the Salad — How Annoying! I really like the salads from this company. Quality of most food items is really good. And even when the line for food wraps during lunch, it actually moves fairly quickly. But the other reviewers are right. My salad of fried chicken, feta cheese, cherry tomatoes and cucumbers is almost $ 12. So the food should really be premium. But every time I order mesculin salad, what I actually get is a lot of cheap romaine salad pre-mixed into the mesculin. You can’t just get plain mesculin. They really need to stop doing that — cheapening the product by saving some pennies on a $ 12 salad!

Today marks the beginning of the end for my long lasting relationship with my favorite lunch spot. I consider myself a regular here visiting 3 times a week and knowing staff by name(and them knowing my order without having to ask). Today I come in and the menu signage has changed. So be it, I already knew what I wanted. Immediately I noticed that the avocado slices were chopped into slim slices instead of halves and the wrap size is smaller… Okay fine the prices of ingredients have gone up, I can accept that. When I got to the counter to pay I noticed my usual prices have gone up as well. So to recap, amount of ingredients have been downsized and prices have gone up. No notice to the customer unless you can read a mish mash smaller menu that they threw together seemingly overnight. We’ve got plenty of options for healthy food in the area and I plan on taking my business elsewhere, the new downsized changes left a bad taste in my mouth.

I eat here almost daily… that’s how amazing the salad is. What really draws me here on a daily basis is the jalapeño pesto dressing… divine. You haven’t lived until you’ve tasted that dressing. The food is always fresh and the customer service always spot on. You can order a custom salad or you can order off the menu. Personally, I order the Mexicali vegan and substitute kale. So good! This spot does most of their business during the lunch rush during the week. The line can be a little discouraging, but it moves really fast. They have two stations so things move quickly. I have been there on the weekend and the salad is just as good, and it’s a lot less busy. I highly recommend going here for a salad. It’s worth the money in my opinion. It certainly beats McDonalds!

Don’t come here unless you actually want cole slaw… Instead of a salad! I just ordered the Cobb salad and I said light dressing… And instead he dumps a handful of dressing on my salad! I’ve been here so many time and this is a constant problem. I usually ask for dressing on the side but when there is a long line, I always catch an attitude from the workers. It’s not cheap either. So you would think they would put more care! Nope… Just go to chipotle and just skip the rice. That’s more of a reasonable«salad» then this place.
