Definitely my favorite salad company in the city. I love it because its fast and easy yet the ingredients are consistently fresh and delicious. This location is great and handles the pandemonium of lunch time in FiDi very well.

***** — boom; BESTSALAD I HAVEEVERHAD! Suggest going there at lunch; there is a HUGE line but a worker hands you a menu and you have your wait time choosing out the amazing selections. I was intrigued by everything but went with the Kebab Cob; balsamic vinaigrette instead of Greek white sauce OPA! They made my salad fresh in front of me; and then directed me to exactly where they were going to CHOP it; it was awesome watching them destroy the beautiful ingredients selected ANDITWASWORTHIT! Paid and got a nice piece of dry bred for my meal; which could of been 2 meals cause it was big. STRONGLYSUGGESTTHISPLACE; will be back!

I ordered from Chop’t for the first time last night. I had one of the new Mediterranean salads, «Mezze». CONS: online order said 25 — 40 minutes for delivery, in reality it was over an hour ad two phone calls. Also, the portion was rather small. PROS: It was flavorful, I liked the turmeric lemon vinaigrette dressing. Yes, maybe being a little generous with the rating. An apology when I called about where the order was(after an hour mind you) instead of «well, we have other orders» would’ve been nice. Still, I don’t want to let what might have been an off night affect things. I applaud their creativity with new flavorful salads. This particular one I ordered is through February. It’ll keep me intrigued to check back to see what other inventions they create — and the salad really was quite tasty. Just add more lettuce/spinach!

Chop’t has become my go-to for healthy lunches in FiDi. I’m not a salad person at all but I think Chop’t does a pretty good job mixing its ingredients to make salads(somewhat) tasty, so it’s hard to go wrong with any of its options. As a general tip, choosing the create-your-own-salad option is definitely not as great as ordering off the menu. You will likely end up with fewer ingredients and a higher price. Don’t be alarmed by the line. Chop’t has a system figured out so you can be in and out in under 15. I must say, the portions are pretty small. It looks huge but most of the volume is from raw greens so how filling can that really be? Two hours later, I’m hungry again. Use this as a very light lunch.

I keep coming back because it’s probably the best salad variety and dressing in fidi. I also love their seasonal salads… they had their version of a chinese salad that was sooooooo good. Sigh… how sad was I the day I returned and found out that they had moved on to their new seasonal salads. I hope to see you again next year La Chinesca! Also, I had docked a star because they changed their bread in my last review, but the manager was kind enough to let me know the reasoning behind it… it’s healthier. Yea I can’t hate on that… plus it currently doesn’t affect me since i recently on off bread. Sads…

I think the NYC Street Cart salad with Greek yogurt is my favorite salad so far. It’s no longer available, the spicy chicken kabob salad is an okay alternative. I’ve tried the Cobb salad but thought it tasteless. I’ve also had the Palm Beach salad, which was good but the hearts of palm upset my stomach. Chop’t is somewhere I go biweekly when I’m to lazy to make lunch. It’s pricey for a salad but its a large portion food. Don’t be afraid of the long line, it moves pretty quickly as the staff is very efficient during the lunch rush.

3.5−4 stars. Since my last review, Chopt has definitely regained some points in my book. First of all, it definitely helped that the branch manager personally reached out to me and sent me some free salad cards so that I could give Chopt a shot again. Second, I’m actually quite impressed by the efficiency of this location. The first day I went it was super crowded but the line moved very quickly. Though it looked chaotic, there were multiple lines and staff moved speedily. The second day, I went a little earlier(before the noon rush) and there was basically no one there. In terms of the salads, I am still not really a salad person, but I think some of their salads are fairly unique and actually somewhat satisfying! My favorite so far has definitely been the«NYC Street Cart.» In general it’s kind of hit or miss, but there are some items on the menu that sound really interesting and are definitely not your average salad. Finally, just wanted to note that the staff here is very friendly, even when it’s busy! Definitely kudos to maintaining that level of service.

What a joke. I’ve never been more confused ordering a salad that’s on the menu. I got overcharged for arugula(it’s .59 and they charged .99) and they tried to charge me for the wrong salad. When I brought it to her attention she told me it’s more. Once we agreed on the price she asked if I added anything else to the salad. I said no. Then she asked again. I don’t think the guy who just made it even knew what he put on it. No way. Skip this joint.

This Chop’t closes early but still dishes out dependably mediocre salads during the day.

I’m not too sure if this is the right location, but I went to the new one in One New York Plaza. It’s usually pretty busy during lunch time but they move fast. I got the grain salad with kale, southwest quinoa blend, with nuts and chipotle vinaigrette and fresh squeezed lemon with their seasoned chicken. I have to say very tasty and healthy and I finished it all. That’s definitely something to me because I’m not a big fan of salad. Only downside is expensive price, but what do you expect in FiDi.

You know what is disappointing? When you take the hit of getting a salad, and then when you get it delivered(late), it turning up with no dressing. As lovely as avocado and plain lettuce is, it’s a bit grim without any real flavor. You know what’s doubly disappointing? When it happens twice in a row. You know what’s annoying? When you order sides like a banana, are called, and told they don’t have any. You say that’s fine and cancel it, but they go ahead and charge you for it anyway. There are not many good salad places that deliver to me, and I quite like eating salad. But I will not be using Chop’t again. Goons.

Hands down, the best salad spot in NYC! I just ordered the Saladburrito, I’m talking loaded! Boom! Staff always friendly, and when you arrive early, no lines, all seats open, and freshness served up. I’m in heaven, thanks Chop’t!

Fairly good salads but perhaps bordering on overpriced. You do get a pretty big salad though and they have a lot of ingredients and dressings to choose from. I had the Kebab Cobb with chicken, feta, red onions, peppers, and pita chips. I really liked the Greek yogurt tzatziki dressing they have and my salad was nicely chopped and mixed. They have a pretty good rewards program and I had gotten a couple of free rewards so even though it was my first visit, I meal was $ 10 off which is nice. With so many other options around here, I don’t see myself rushing back here but I would consider coming here again if I want a salad in the future.

I’ve worked on Wall Street for the past five years, so it’s in my lunch rotation. I’ve eaten here dozens of times and this place is really an inspiration for me. It’s an absolute machine, more efficient than Just Salad down the block and with generally better selection(ingredient wise). It’s incredible that these guys can get me in and out within 12 minutes when I am the 50th person on line… this isn’t a chipotle with their 6 ingredients. This is a place that has to select from a wide variety of ingredients, then chop them up and then collect your money. Mexicali vegan is my go to(I get it with chicken) and before that, it was the Mexican Cobb I think. Dressing selection is absolutely terrific. I mean seriously good stuff. My one issue is that the core salads are bland(besides that Mexicali). I am sure they are optimized to be profitable, but just wish they would do something more interesting given all they have on the line.

I ordered the Cobb salad with a spinach mixed with cabbage base, which was super yummy with bits of chicken, avocado and bacon bits. I chose the Cobb salad from the list of pre-set salad menu, however you can customize your salad as well, or have a salad«sandwich» which is basically a… Burrito. The salad I brought came out to be $ 10, but for the amount(it was full to top, I couldn’t finished it so I packed it away. It will be my lunch tmrw.) it was well worth the price. At the counter they also provide you with two pieces of tortilla wrap with your salad, unless you ordered sandwich.

Salads here are normally great, ingredients normally fresh, healthy options. Really I only have one complaint, and it’s a dealbreaker. Have eaten here and at other Chop’t locations many dozens of times. Twice now I’ve found giant bugs in my salad. Once at this location, and once at the location by Bryant Park. At Bryant Park, the whole bug was intact(didn’t get chopt), it was some sort of massive moth looking thing. The bug at the one down here WAS chop’t(I only found the head-and-torso half). Halfway through the salad. Oh god. Must retire this from my lunch rotation.

I actually haven’t been to Chop. I always walk to just salad because I have a bowl and their prices and portion is reasonable. As for this location. — the workers seems really tired after 1pm? After they received my bowl, they simply just stare at me without even asking«chopped»? Most of the salad location do. and they are simply so unfriendly when I say«yes please»! — prices are not listed. I have no idea how much it is. I ordered my salad with cranberries, avocados(pay extra), almonds, carrots, tomato, edamame, chicken(extra). it came out to be 14 – 15 dollars? REALLY? 1 extra star is their salad is pretty good. you can’t go wrong with it. 1 extra star for different variety of dressing. I don’t think I will return and pay so much for a salad. I just don’t see a point. few blocks down. You can go to Open Kitchen. Where you get a huge bowl of salad with 5 toppings + a protein for less than 10 dollars!

Decided to give this place a try one day instead of Just Salad. It was an enlightening experience and gave me a chance to really compare the two against each other in every possible way. The line is just as long at lunch time but once it comes time to order your salad, everything changes. I made my own salad with my usual toppings but when it came time to order walnuts, they handed me a side container containing a few chopped up walnuts as opposed to the usual side portion I would normally receive at Just Salad. The line situation is also very hard to understand and thus becomes un-necessarily chaotic. The checkout line is also very chaotic because you have to access it by walking through the waiting line for the salad’s to be tossed or chopped. The actual salad, which is the same that I get from Just Salad was not very good. Ingredients were fresh, but the salad itself didn’t taste nearly as good. My go to dressing of balsamic vinegar tasted watered down and just lacking overall. I was very surprised by the overall experience. While I love Just Salad and it was already a high bar to cross, I didn’t expect this experience to fall so far short. I’ll definitely be sticking with Just Salad going forward.

I wrote a review earlier this week about how bad Chop’t messed up my lunch. But the manager Laura has reached out to and was aware of my concerns. She was nice and understands… Thank you Laura
