From recommendations by close friends, we enrolled our son (who is now 15 years old) to the Chinatown Day Care Center for three years (2002 — 2005). From my fond memories of dropping him off on his first day (watching him cry) and seeing him graduate from pre-​K, we have nothing but praise for the center.
The day care center not only taught my son the three R’s but also learned his culture with performances during the Chinese New Year. The center prepared him for the «gifted» children program but most importantly prepared him for primary school.
As a parent, I always believe that there is nothing wrong with giving children a head start. Chinatown Day Care is that head start…

My boy is in the 3rd old year old program, like the previous review said. The teachers are great and supportive, but it is so hard to get in. Definitely the best chinese preschool in the city.

This is the best daycare to send your children in Chinatown! The teachers are warm and supportive, and they have a very educational environment. Their secretary Queenie is also a great lady. My 3-​year old Jonathan is very happy there. My daughter is due in February and I hope she can attend this daycare as well.
