Oh holy hell what is up with their website? I really hope they didn’t pay for it. Anyhow, food is mediocre at best. Seasonings are way off and they really have no clue what spicy is. KFC has spicier stuff. Ugh.

When I saw a new chicken restaurant opened in the neighborhood I quickly went in and asked for a menu. I was excited at the range of food offered and was hoping this would be the«new chicken place». However, once the food arrived I was greatly disappointed. At first glance you can see that their food is not made on site. I could’ve purchased the same potato rolls, Ore Ida french fries and frozen Texas toast at the supermarket. As for the chicken I found it to be over cooked and hard; it seems to have been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. My boyfriend ordered the Cajun chicken and ribs. He said the chicken was tasty and moist but, the ribs were overcooked. Overall, this place would be good in a pinch but when there are so many other great chicken places in the neighborhood why bother?

This place recently opened. They advertise«pressure-fried» skinless chicken in various flavors. The fried outer shell of the chicken is crispy and salty, while the flesh is moist and more juicy than other fried chicken I have eaten. Their most popular flavor is «southern-style» which has some kind of a spice rub, but I actually prefer the traditional«golden» flavor, which has a very pure, not-too-salty taste. I will definitely go back here as it’s very close to the subway. The staff is friendly.
