Dr. Cheng is fantastic. He expertly does both acupuncture and acupressure, up to an hour to 1.5 hr per session. His accuracy is incredible, always quickly honing in on the exact places that need the most work, to attend to whatever is ailing you at the moment. I’ve gone there for everything from back pain to RSI, from exhaustion and stress to getting over the flu. He Is young, friendly, energetic and has training in both eastern and western medicine, so has a broad range of practical, grounded advice to offer. He is also incredibly affordable at $ 50/​session (for now). The place is tiny, just big enough for a massage table and tucked into the corner of his family’s Chinese herbal pharmacy. I almost hesitate to tell other people because it will make it harder to get an appt myself, but he’s really excellent.

Cheng’s Acupuncture is a hidden gem amidst all the traditional Chinese medical facilities located in the Sunset Park Chinatown area. It’s a father-​son team practicing effectively and efficiently in a cramped, no-​frills type environment. I’ve had great results with their treatments for ankle pain and seasonal allergies. It’s clear that Charles takes pride in his profession and genuinely believes in quality patient care.
