CPHO is as close to legalized extortion as a medical practice can get. It’s one thing to get ripped off by your car mechanic, but extorting people because of health issues is a whole different ballgame. Nurses are wonderful, but the people running this place need remember the Hippocratic oath and at least pretend to stick to it.

Wonderful nurses. Great standard of front end care. Untrustworthy back office.
Entrusted this infusion center with my son’s health. They dropped the ball we now face a health threat that can only be resolved with great inconvenience and substantial stress…
No apologies. Just illogical and unusual protocols that can’t be anticipated by patients or referring physicians. I’m sure their system works for some but I’m not in a position to matriculate conflicting systems to ensure they give me what I’m paying for when its promised. I don’t have time or the experience to anticipate unusual systems or «what’s not being said». A system concerned with patient health should be clear and intuitive.
If you are going to patronize this business I recommend calling a week or two before the procedure to verify the medication is onsight. Call your pharmacy to ensure they did in fact send your medicine to the infusion center. Call again the day of the procedure to ensure they still have the medication.

I’ve only met with Dr. Klafter, and there’s not much to say about him except that he’s the best. Every physician could learn a lot from his way of dealing with patients. He cares about how your health fits into the rest of your life, how it might be affected by your particular job or routine, etc. If you’re in a rush to get to work, he’ll make sure you get your tests, results, etc. as quickly as possible. In short, he cares. Such a novel thing in a doctor these days, though it shouldn’t be.
Also, the practice offers free wifi to patients, which is a nice bonus.
