Solid Dominican Takeout with discount pricing for all of the Medial Center staffers in the area, of which there are many. Delivery on the sketchy side, but portions and food freshness keep all my cap and scrubs brethren coming back for more. A nice switch from the other similar lunch venues in Kingsbridge, albeit brief. Sadly CIA trained Chef Perez has since sold the business Feb 2013 to another proprietor and the site is closed until new management comes on board.

I went on its second day or something like that, and i have not gone back. Not because of the food, because it was decent, but because of the most annoying waitress of all time! Jesus she was overrrrllllyyyy attentive. Like let us eat… Let us breathe! Removing plates when we were just taking a break from eating… Offering coffee and dessert while we we not done… Shit what a mess. Everytime I walk by I am tempted to try again, but she is always there lol. Dammit! Aside from that. I ordered a churasco Medium Rare and it came out atleast Medium Well which is a huge jump. And it was tiny as fuck! And 19 $$$$ Good flavor, but not happy. I expected a restaurant ran by a student from CIA would be able to crank up a Medium Rare steak. My girl had the sancocho and it was good… Just good doesnt cut it sometimes, My last problem. I was kinda excited to try this place after I saw the chef was classically trained, so I expected some latin fusion or something latino and unique. What i got? A menu like everyother fucking takeout Dominican Restaurant. I swear there are like 8 in the area. Nothing unique about this place. Doubt I ll be going back even though its in my area. Last note… I miss Auntie Ritas which was here prior.
