Staff is patient and the store is clean, I would be 4 star if they didn’t give me large hot coffee when I ordered a medium ice coffee

I just paid almost $ 15 for a dry sandwich and a small bottle of Poland Spring. That right there should tell you enough.

They do a very good job despite all the challenges in NYC, poor quality help at high wages, sky high rent and a NYC government with it’s hand in your pocket, oh I’m sorry I have to talk about Café Metro!(we share the same challenges) Fast service, fresh food, tastes good and it’s a decent value.

Not satisfied. The French Toast was dry. The bacon overcooked. Fried eggs still runny. Was difficult for the cook to understand«add spinach to the omelet» on one order. For mid-range prices I would expect better quality food. Overall disappointing breakfast. Unlikely I would return too. The only thing good was the glass of fresh squeezed orange juice.

Best lunch spot in midtown. Salad bar is def worth the wait. Salad bar is fully stocked with fresh goods and they also have prepackaged lunches even if you are in a rush(and also want to maintain a healthy lifestyle)

I ordered just a plain egg and cheese on whole wheat bread, seems like they did not have that on their menu it took them 15 minutes to figure out if they can make that for me. After getting my order the cashier charged $ 8.99 for egg and cheese sandwich after speaking to the manager RACHID he reduced it to $ 6.99. Who the hell charges $ 7 for egg and cheese sandwich. Dunkin donut across the street has the same thing for $ 3. This place is a rip off. Stay away!

First impression: Really nice staff. I had never been here before, so I asked where to go, what can I order, etc. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. I got a bacon, egg and cheese on a flat sesame bagel. It was $ 5.43 with tax. A little on the pricier side, compared to Dunkin and Starbucks. However, it was really big. And good. It wasn’t amazing by any means, but it was a nice change from my Dunkin sandwich and worth the extra dollar. The only thing I didn’t like was that the top of the bagel didn’t have any cheese on it, so it could just fall off. I guess cheese on the bottom instead of the top isn’t a deal breaker: P Also, they have a TON of breakfast options. Which is nice. Apparently there is seating, too. I will be back but ONLY when i really really really want a breakfast sandwich. I got a BEC on a croissant today and it was $ 7 and change. I was shocked :(

My breakfast hub. The food really good. Pancakes Egg white Omelette The staff is great, friendly, while moving the line along. They remember who you are. Try the split pea soup and the turkey chili. Yummy!

Small seating area, which isn’t really occupied during lunch hours — mainly people grab their sandwiches, salads, or soups, and head back to the office. Doesn’t seem like a real sit down location. Having said that, I was able to snag a small table by the window on my lunch break, and since it wasn’t crowded and noisy(other than people chattering and ordering food at the front), it felt almost peaceful! Prices are average, not exactly cheap. Maybe on the pricey side considering what you are getting, but given the location, it’s not so bad. Good selection of hot soup, sandwiches, salads.

The cook was too busy frying huge batches of bacon, some almost on top of my food to notice my omelet burning. So much for«make it soft». The ladies at the register can’t get a single coffee order right, had to repeat everything 3 times over — either not paying attention or can’t understand English — take your pick. In other words, this location is horrible. Went there for breakfast for a couple of days and it’s been a disappointment every time. Stay well away.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I work at Warner Bros. on 54th Street and I eat at Café Metro once if not twice a day almost every day. My boss and I enjoy the wide selection and variety of foods, although we get the same thing every time. We really come here everyday because of the high quality customer service we receive from the below individuals: Tiffany: I have to say that she is the most kind, caring and wonderful server I have ever had. She really makes our day by remembering our order and exactly how I like my iced coffee. She will re-make it several times without complaint just to give us exactly what we want. I cannot recommend Tiffany enough. She is such a happy face to see in the mornings and I love to start my day at Café Metro because of Tiffany. We also order our corporate catering through Café Metro because we know the kind of service that Tiffany provides, we know that she will get it right every time! Thank you Tiffany, you’re amazing. Antonio: Antonio serves me everyday and knows my order off my heart. I don’t even have to tell him and he starts making it. It makes it easier to order if I am in a rush and I don’t have to think in the mornings. I highly recommend Antonio for a chat and smile in the mornings and at lunch time :) Fatima: Fatima usually swipes my card at the register and she is always so kind to get my iced coffee right too. She never complains even though I send it back for more milk almost every time and I love how she also tries to make my morning easier. Thank you, Fatima for your quality customer service. I love Café Metro because of the people that work there and I cannot recommend it enough. Regardless of how much money I spend there I find that it is totally worth the experience that I get every day. I feel so happy when I walk out not only that I have yummy food to eat but that I have actually been talked to and cared for and that is pretty rare in New York City.

This place is way overpriced! But it is on 7th Ave so that is to be expected. That said, it is convenient for me if I need to quickly get some fruit or a salad or something. But tourists of 7th Avenue, heed my words. You will pay less if you go a block or two away. 54 Gourmet, between Broadway and 8th on 54th is a good option. Last week at Metro I paid $ 9 for a small greek salad. I mean, who am I? Ryan Seacrest? Who can pay that for a salad? A small container of fruit is twice what it costs at the supermarket(Gristedes is a block away at 54th and 8th). Employees are usually friendly but the prices are not justifiable in my book. So that is why I can only give three stars, because it isn’t bad, it just lacks value.

More like 3.5 stars… I know restaurants around Times Square get a bad rep, but this place is decent if you want something quick and healthy. I made a salad for around $ 9, which comes with a choice of 6 toppings and a chunk of bagel/bread. The greens were fresh, and I liked the variety of toppings they offered. They also have a nice selection of healthier sauces — I went with the organic sesame and olive oil dressing, which was good. Cheap and fresh, would come again.

Food is good. A little pricey but it’s what to expect when you’re near Times Square. Their sandwiches and salads are good and fresh, but I go a couple blocks down the street for an egg and cheese on a roll for half the price.

Food was okay, no complaints. Ordered the Belgian waffles and bacon. Bacon turned out perfect, the waffle was a little tougher than I hoped it to be but then again the cheap cutlery could’ve been my problem. Order a ice coffee with it as well and found the coffee very watered down. Alas, I enjoyed it still. My girlfriend, not so much. All in all I wouldn’t make this my first stop for breakfast but I wouldn’t mind eating here again.

Came here For a quick bite to eat before work, got a chicken cutlet wrap, cookie and a can of soda $ 11ish dollars… not bad at all! However the chicken cutlet wasn’t the best quality meat, very chewy… like firm chewy like what you get from a Chinese restaurant and you wonder if it’s really chicken! I’m sure it’s chicken here… but still not a nice texture. They need to change their supplier. Staff were friendly, and it’s very clean. Will definitely be back again

Não entendi porque o local possui apenas duas estrelas. Apesar de não ser tão grande possui mesas no andar de baixo e é ótimo para um rápido café. Experimentei um cup cake e uma rosca com passas. Estavam saborosos. O valor também não assusta. Menos de 10 dólares por pessoa.
