I would definitely go back to this place in the future. It can be a little difficult to find what you’re looking for without assistance, but in the two times I’ve been there, the staff has been quite helpful. We managed to snag some chicken wire for our balcony for 98 cents a foot. No that is not a typo… 98 cents. I thought i was reading the sign wrong and asked the cashier who informed me that I read it right. I literally checked every hardware store between 110th and 99th and this was by far the cheapest I found. They have a lot of stuff too so make sure you ask if you don’t see something. I thought they didn’t have any chicken wire but when I asked an employee, he showed me that they have all the chicken wire displayed on a sign that is on the ceiling. Literally you have to stand under it and look straight up. My only real complaint is their hours are quite limited which can make it hard to get there if you work during the week.

Go here if you want bad advice, and then not be able to return anything. The«electrician» tried to convince me to cut an extension cord, expose live wires to attach with tape, to the end of a lamp that should be installed directly into the wall. The idea was obviously to sell me something even though they did not carry what I needed. When I tried to return all the equipment to rig the lamp, I was told they accept no returns whatsoever. What kind of store accepts no returns at all, especially when they gave the bad advice that led to the purchase? Avoid this store at all costs. There are plenty of other fine shops around where you can get what you need.
