Opted to try burgerfi instead of going to shake shack, and I was very satisfied. Burgers are pretty similar, slightly bigger portion. But then again I love any burger on a potato bun! I also tried their Cajun fries which was delicious. It does have a kick to it, if you don’t eat spicy food. Topped off my order with a vanilla milkshake, A+.

Burger Fi is the Best Fast Food Burger! What? This place is always consistent, the meat tastes like a good fresh blend. The staff is always very professional. They make the burgers fresh so don’t expect to walk in and out in 3 minutes. The burgers are cooked to order. I dabbled around when they first opened but now always get the same thing. Burger Fi cheese burger with bacon and fries. They must run it like the Marines because it’s always perfect and I don’t throw that around lightly. I consider myself a Burger connoisseur. This place is better than Shake Shack(never understood the lines). The crinkle cut Fries at Shake Shack are better than Burger Fi’s fries, but they’re real good when you get them well done. There are loads of burger chains opening in our fair city but this one is the best(it would be a different story if Bun ‘n Burger were still around, but it’s not. And J. G Melon is not a chain(yet)).

A volonté ! Et c’est excellent :) Personnel très accueillant en plus. Je recommande !

The first time they gave me stale bread I decided to let it go because I figured it’s probably just a simple oversight. But with this latest order, BurgerFi has sealed its fate with me. I order a Kobe beef burger to-go and unwrapped it to find a visibly molded bun. As you can see from the pics, it wasn’t hard to see the bread was no good… you just had to look! This was officially my last time ordering anything from this place. Do yourself a favor and patronize one of NYC’s hundreds of other burger joints… dare I say Lucky Burger or Shake Shack.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves burgers but hates the stomach ache following them. I had the pleasure of attending a Unilocal Elite Event here and meeting the founder Steve who is AWESOME. He explained how the restaurant uses all natural ingredients from sustainable farms. You can taste the difference in these burgers, they are not greasy at all. The veggie burger here is the best I have tried to date. The breakfast burger is also incredible… bacon + hash brown + maple syrup + egg + beef patty + cheese… I am getting hungry just thinking about it. Their garlic fries and onion rings(plus dipping sauce) are also incredible

Through a Unilocal event I was fortunate enough to sample most of their products and needless to say I will be as objective as possible in this review. In short, BurgerFI is a solid fast casual type of dining experience that most closely mirrors Shakeshack but with more types of fries(animal style yes you heard that right, onion rings, parmesan herb garlic, and some others), and desserts including a frozen vanilla custard mixed with a red velvet cake, and chocolate shake made from all natural chocolate custard. Lets start with the burgers, the basic cheeseburger is a solid angus cheeseburger that most closely resembles that of In n Out. While this implies that it’s a solid burger, one piece of advice I would give is to have more seasoning, there is a missing salt flavor that is necessary in burgers in general from BurgerFi as well as In n Out in my opinion, but the cook on the burger was fine, and the toppings are plenty. The Twenty Eight burger is a bleu cheeseburger and the brisket cut allows the cheese to be powerful hence the use of bleu and it really shows here, the flavor is quite wonderful actually because most bleu burgers i’ve had are overly powerful or overly salty. This was a solid in between. I then had the breakfast burger, and that was my favorite, it is one layer hashbrown, beef, egg, and bacon with maple syrup. Hence you should be able to taste a distinct sweet flavor. This burger is going to be quite heavy and it is also stacked higher than the rest at least from what I saw and This too is an angus burger. I enjoyed this the most and I would definitely have it again. Lastly we had a Veggie burger and oh my god this is actually a good Veggie burger! I’ve only had samples of a few before but this one beats them all, I wouldn’t even mind eating it normally(assuming I was disinterested in beef at the time). The hotdog is loaded with toppings and extremely well done. Its super tasty and if you like mustard hotdogs this is definitely the one for you as it is the strongest flavor but if you don’t then steer clear. I would like to see a larger dog but overall still great. Fries are plentiful and amazing. Besides the fries description above, I would highly recommend the onion rings, those things are bomb and they are actually full of onion and its just done perfectly. It isnt a situation where the onion is basically missing, it isnt oily, the crispiness is always there. Same goes with the actual fries. Moving on to the desserts, the shakes are extremely good, and surprisingly made from custard and are much healthier than Shake Shack’s shakes. The chocolate shake was great and the red velvet concrete, yes thats the name, which is vanilla custard layered with red velvet cake is really really amazing and despite being insanely full by this point I still ate over half of it. There is literally a red velvet cake inside this thing, wow. If the burgers had a bit more seasoning overall it would add a lot more flavor, they do focus a lot on health and everything here is minimal in grease but to compensate for the fatty flavor, seasoning is necessary. That will transform this place into a complete 5 star restaurant.

Burger Fi is fantastic. It’s really a shame they only have 1 location in NYC, and that it’s in UES. First off, the burger was delicious(Burger Fi Cheeseburger), but I was struck by how good, well-rested, and not greasy I felt after this burger. I always feel greasy and tired after Shake Shack and Five Guys. Additionally, the burgers here are healthier, lower in calories, and are made with better ingredients. The montra of this fast casual restaurant is «all natural,» and they truly put a lot of attention into making a sustainable business from sustainable ingredients and treating their staff and customers well. They have a strong passion to find the best ingredients and to source them naturally(no hormones, etc). I’ll be back multiple times. Pro-tip: Even if you’ve never had a veggie burger, try this one. It is FANTASTIC. This was my second burger of the day, and I plan on coming here multiple times just for the veggie burger, which made me feel amazing.

I was looking for a really good burger so looked up burger 10028. Looked like good reviews. I really wanted Five Guys but not in the area. Thought that I’d try this place. I would have been happier if they cooked the burger. Unfortunately I didnt notice until I got home to eat it. Fries were ok, too Not headed back with so many options in the area.

Not a fan of their burger, but their Hot Dogs are probably the best in the City. I will always come here for their Hot Dogs, with the spicy sauce and cheese. On the side you get an order of cheese fries, perfect Combo.

Went first time today for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the cheese burger. I also got a Chicago dog that was ok. For the dog all the ingredients were there but the proportions were off. Not enough mustard or more importantly relish made the flare profile off. But a Chicago dog in this city is nearly impossible to find so I’ll give it another chance. The burger was simple and really really good. It had a good chat, fresh beef flavor and a well seasoned patty. Large cheese was the perfect melty American but you do get done choices too which is a bonus. Oddly the burger was wrapped in paper like a gyro with the lettuce tomato and onion all coming at me but then completely missing by the end. Though the patty was so good I may go with s simpler grilled onion only topping plan next time. Why such the low score then? Well it is hard for me to swallow a fast food style single cheese burger and hot dog for $ 11.26. No drink no fries. I just can’t get behind these burger(or burrito) fast casual concepts that cost $ 15+ pp. the value just isn’t there when I can get a beautiful bowl of hand pulled noodles for $ 7 down the street. These concepts are showing up everywhere because the concept is really to overcharge for cheap food.

Holy moly!!! When I first bite the onion ring, I just had the out of this world taste!!! Super nice employees, and the free sample float was too big to become a perfect appetizer! I also loved their interior which is cozy, casual, and hip! I had a Chicago style dog because I didn’t want to eat too much meat and was the best choice! Anyways, their onion ring is extraordinary and must try!!! I’ll love burgerfi more than shake shack for sure! Made me so full and couldn’t even finish the regular onion ring myself.(So sad…) It’s best for two to share! Highly recommend in the UES!!!

Great late night food. Very similar to shake shack, but throws in it’s unique flavors. A lot of seating to accommodate the lunch crowd. The cashier was such a doll and even brought our food out to us. Everyone was friendly and made for a pleasant experience.

Ambivalent about this one. Really like the create your own burger and the option for lettuce instead of buns. Prefer coming here for shake shack. Good for a quick dinner

The veggie burger. Delicious. Made with crispy quinoa, topped with lettuce, tomato and the burgerfi sauce and comes with multigrain bread, well portioned and all nicely wrapped for clean eating. Would likely skip the side of Parmesan fries, they can be a little dry, or opt for a different fry topping. Service was nice. Love that they are environmentally friendly with their tables and chairs made from recycled materials. Outdoor and indoor seating, plenty of space available.

This place is bomb. Get the«Breakfast All Day» or B.A.D burger. BUT get it without the hashbrown. It’s way better without it, plus if you get an order of fries(which you should) you will already have plenty of potato. I always have to come here super hungry because the burger is so filling. And naturally, I’m going to want a red velvet shake too. Love this place.

Wait a minute where am I? In Twilight Zone-esque moment upon my initial visit to BurgerFi I felt as though I’ve been there before. Think distorted deja vu. Things kinds, sorta look like some other place and the menu is mostly different but the feel has been replicated but not entirely reproduced. I ordered the single burger and the Chicago dog. Both were mediocre. Mostly because they tasted as thought they’ve been loitering on the heat plate. Sort of like the transition from Phoenix to the mountains: semi-warm and dry. Fried potatoes were very good. I’d give BurgerFi another go around but it would be a while

So I heard of this chain for a while, it’s a Florida chain that just recently started popping up in NYC. The place does have a very Shake Shack feel to it, the décor especially. The food kinda felt like cafeteria food, the food really didn’t wow me at all. The service, on the other hand, was great, they were very nice and welcoming, even on the late night Saturday that I went. For what you get, it is kinda pricey, a Cheeseburger, onion rings and a float was $ 18 bucks. The food: Crispy onion rings– the rings were fried really nicely, they were not greasy at all, the onion was nice and tender, but the damn rings had ZERO flavor. They were not seasoned at all and the onion offered texture but no flavor, weird. I had to grab salt and pepper packets to aid the situation. It helped a little. BurgerFi Cheeseburger– double natural angus burger, double American cheese, lettuce, tomato and ButgerFi sauce. The burger was tiny especially for a double burger. The burger itself was just OK, the cheese in the burger was weird, though. The cheese had a funky taste and texture, I was not a fan. The beef was just so so, the burgers are cooked well done. The Burgerfi sauce wasn’t really noticeable.
Floats & Cows– root beer. It was a root beer float that they use Birch beer. The float was just OK, it did have this weird medicinal taste to it. I am a fan of root beer floats, this was barely passable.

For some reason my burger cravings are at an all-time high during this time of the year, so stopping here was a must. I expected BurgerFi to be a disappointing copy cat version of Shake Shack, but I was wrong. This place has its own unique spin on burgers, hotdogs and custard. I planned to order a regular burger but once I saw«green burger»(burger patty wrapped in lettuce instead of on a bun) on the menu, I had to check it out– hey, fewer calories is always a win. I ordered onions rings as a side, regret it. The rings were the size of my hand and way too greasy, bleck! Plus: Employees give pretty big samples of the custard. The vanilla custard was a win, chocolate not so much(biased opinion, not a chocolate fan).
