Buonissima Pizzeria

One of the hidden spots! This place good a pretty decent portion for its price value. I had a order of fried calamari and another order of fries and grill chicken. The fried calamari platter was huge! I had an order of pickup so it wasn’t as crunchy as I got home but still, it was pretty good. Wish I ate it on the spot because I already know I missed out on its freshness. The fries as well. Overall, the food is great! I probably should try the pizza next time.

I am so satisfied with everything I ordered I will definitely order from here again. I ordered penne with vodka sauce, garlic a knots, & zeppoles. The garlic knots and zeppoles were huge and the pasta serving was so big that I have lots of leftovers. The food was delivered in the estimated delivery window and everything was hot & fresh. I’ll definitely order from here again.

So far, best pepperoni slice I’ve had in NYC! The squares are a lil pricey I think, but also friggin’ deelish! Can’t wait to try the Philly cheesesteak and maybe even the pastas.

Ok it’s a horrible service there. We were waiting for our order more than a hour. We ordered at 3:40pm a diner but was 5:10pm already and we should go home it’s no reason to wait more than a hour and called to cancel our order because it was even our fault. And we are just like 10 – 15 min from there on 16ave. More than a hour to delivery or well maybe I don’t know, perhaps it’s ok for Buonissima. Then when I canceled order because 2 of my colleagues left home, I will not pay for them, they told me that we will never get a delivery anymore. Well it’s Brooklyn, now we will some other place where can get a delivery on time or at least in 30 min

I haven’t actually had a slice of pizza from here but I did eat their Philly Cheesesteak 2x’s in a row. Not sure if it was because I was hungry or what but both times tasted real good. Add fries to the meal for just $ 1 extra. Most likely not what they’re supposed to be known for though! I’m going to assume the pizza is great also. It was worth the 2 avenues and 10 blocks walk for me.

I love this place. They have incredible food. They have the best chicken wings in the area! The only thing, if you order you may be waiting a little while. But its always worth the wait.
Their chicken tenders are an amazing deal. You basically get 6 chicken cutlets for under $ 5

Never was a big fan of this place. First time I order with my boyfriend and the food was very blend. I decided to give it another try, so I ended up ordering again with my coworkers for lunch but this time I was in for a surprise. I ordered grilled chicken Alfredo and I only had a few bites because the food was very salty. By the time I left work I was already feeling sick. I was feeling very nauseous. Three hours later I was vomiting non-​stop. Bottom line I got food poisoning from this place.

Delivery was fast, but we were not impressed with the crust on our pie. Very chewy.
Would try their pan pizzas though.

When we are in the mood for pizza or Italian dish, This is our place to order. Their pizza we usually buy the 14″ Cheese pizza and we get it cooked just the way we like it. Regular cooked, Not over cooked, not under cooked but regular cooked and we love it. My son loves their Chicken Parm with Baked Ziti dish. When he comes on block leave pass from his military base, that Soldier wants that dish waiting for him when he arrives. We always order it and when he walks in the door he goes straight to check stove top to see if his favorite dish is there waiting for him and that dish is Packed to the top, their portions are amazing and chicken very fresh. My husband loves the Veal Marsala with Linguini and Garlic sauce. I like their Shrimp Parm heroes. Their bread is always soft and taste very fresh. Delivery is good. When they are very very busy Fri — weekend you have to wait a little longer but its worth the wait. Guys are very polite and friendly when taking your orders. I have tried many pizzeria around the neighborhood but when I found Buonissima pizza, thats it we stood with them. Hope they continue to do their pizza and food they way they are doing it now AWESOME! Don’t change the ingredients or the cooks. As long as food continues to be very good, we will always be loyal customers. To all the guys that work at Buonissima Pizza, Great job guys. Your boss really must appreciate how you make this pizzeria what it is.

Decided to try this because of the reviews & because it’s close to my house. I ordered and was waiting on the delivery, I saw the restaurant confirmed it’d take about 45 minutes. I was waiting patiently for my warm pizza pie & the time it was suppoused to arrive passed, then an extra 30 minutes passed. I was ready to call the business and just say forget it. Right then, my bell rang and it was the delivery guy. The pizza looked like it had been out for hours instead of just out the oven.
In conclusion, unless you want to wait an hour & a half for a delivery & cold pizza then this is your place to go.

Always kind, always a great service. We never had pizza there, so we decided it to try! Sure. We didn’t end up with pizza, but two delicious hot heros. The staff as always was very kind and eager to help/​serve. I’m pretty sure, we will be back for pizza one day!

Pizza is so addictive, the chicken and ham cheese pie and mozzarella sticks are simply delicious !!

I have been a chef for a long time. I tried Buonissima a few weeks ago and i have not stooped coming back. They have great pizza. They have amazing rolls. Me and my gf order their entrees for dinner almost every night since the first time i tried it. She gets there salads all the time and they are always fresh. Even their delivery guy is awesome an always comes quick! i would definitely recommend this pizzeria any time!

The food here is great, the pizza is great, the philly cheesesteak was delicious. I cant wait to try something different. Philly cheesestake calzone sounds amazing definitely my next order.

They have a lot of choices to choose from my favorite slice is the chicken cesar salad slice and buffalo slice, the staff is very friendly and the place is very clean, definitely a must try.

The place is clean with neon lights sign outside, came to this place while waiting for the bf to get off work. There was odd bottles of alcohol on the top self… Which makes for an interesting display. The staffs were friendly, they first grill you down to see what might want, then greets you with a nod and smile.
The funniest thing about this place is that I am in love for their chicken baked ziti with tomatoes. Like, I completely crave for it. Even think about it several times a week. It is saucy, which I need. The chicken is crisp and warm, and the ziti are not hard and flavorful. I cannot stand pasta that is not flavorful, which kept me eating.
It was a big dinner, which I didn’t finish since I shared some with my bf, but I would definitely come back to this place for another one!

Pizza is pretty good. I had better but not bad at all. Slice are big and cheesy. The employees are very friendly and the service is superb.

This is my 3^rd or 4^th time ordering from them. I love this pizzeria as they have deliciously amazing good and they deliver. I’m only a couple blocks away and feel the delivery time could be shortened up a bit because the last time my slice was a bit cold but my pasta was nice and hot still. I love the daily specials they have and the service is nice too. Glad to have a pizzeria nearby that’s amazing !!

Very delicious, hearty pizza. And the Zepoles! It was a great Seamless order.

I’m writing this review for purely selfish reasons. I really don’t want this neighborhood pizzeria to go away and I’m worried that it will since I don’t see many people there. Don’t be afraid of the fact that they offer pies topped with chicken caesar salad and buffalo chicken drenched with ranch sauce. Unorthodox, yes, but I’m sure there’s a market for that here. It’s totally ok that perhaps these men who make, serve, and deliver the pizza are not Italian. If you can cook well and be a really fantastic worker, that’s all that matters. Just ask for either a Grandma’s slice or a Margherita and you’ll also want this place to stay in business. You’ll thank me, I promise. What sets this place apart from the other local joints in Bensonhurst is the fact that the sauces of the Margherita and the Grandma are so rich and flavorful and the bottoms are thin and crispy. I haven’t tried the other slices yet, but once I do, I’ll update. In the meantime, just come here. Please. I need this place to stay afloat so that when the craving for pizza hits, iI can enjoy a delicious slice without having to travel very far.
