Cute little bead and jewelry supply store next to Café Lalo. They have fair prices for their supplies, and offer discounts at certain price points. If you spend X, you get X% off. If you’re nice to the staff, they will be nice to you. I make jewelry and know what I’m looking for/​at, so it’s not important for me to have a lot of interaction with the staff. They do custom jewelry repairs and offer classes and birthday parties for kids also.

While Bruce Frank Beads has a good selection of quality beads and findings, I find that the staff is extremely unfriendly and unhelpful and the prices are expensive compared to other bead stores. I live in the neighborhood and almost every time I go in there, the staff either ignores me completely (even if no one else is in the store), or speaks to me in a condescending manner. The last time I went in I asked someone about a particular piece of jewelry and he was extremely unhelpful.
